  1. I very nearly p,,d myself watching the grey lady episode , even now when I know what comes next I still laugh like a drain. For people my age rising damp will never be bettered, although "cheers" comes close.

  6. Cheers, I reckon the way they think is that I use chainsaws for work so I will have to replace them, so in a couple of months or so they,ll be back. so its up to me to make the sheds even more secure. I may well end up being called the son of tony martin or such like:laugh1:
  7. They say bad luck comes in 3s, I think ive had my share today:laugh1:
  8. To be honest there really isn't a lot the police can do, and when they do the courts just give them a slap on the wrist. All we can do is make it as hard as possible for the scum to break into our property.
  9. Firstly I was woken by the wife at 5 this morning "your sheds have been broken into!" . Sure enough 3 saws, blower, hedgecutter all stihl and a few Makita tools gone. Police arrive very shortly and have a look about and say a scene of crime officer will be here shortly. A couple of hours later police phone and say " the officer who was coming to see you cant make it today, and to be honest theres not a lot we can do" . Im left thinking if the law cant do anything who can?. Anyway I gave up with the police and went to buy new saws etc and on the way got done for speeding. You just gotta laugh

  13. Sort of understand where your coming from, take princess Diana, while she was alive for the last couple of years the press made her out to be an absolute slut, when she died she was the princess of hearts etc. BUT mr kennedy was one of the honest politicians you could find, sure he was a drunk but he admitted it.
  14. jesus, I wouldn't want your weekly shopping bill.
  15. Fair play to wenger, probably the best premier manager of all time, considering he has not had the money that the other top team managers have had. I,m man u, but credit where credits due:thumbup1:
  16. Might as well make a day of it jon. See you in Bedfordshire , not to early mind:laugh1:
  17. has she got a sister?
  18. I sold a motorbike on ebay a few years ago for £650, the winning bidder contacted me and said could I old it for a couple of weeks as a courier was picking it up and needed a few in the same area . 2 or 3 days later an envelope came through the door with £650 in cash inside. These are the type of people that the scammers love, its so easy to not get scammed....pay on collection only!!
  19. The obvious is roundup, in my experience it wont kill knotweed, you just think it has, until next year and off it goes again.

  21. Agree with that, where they come from and what colour etc they are should not be the issue , their attitude and willingness to work should be. Plenty of white english drug taking non working wasters near me.
  22. Being born and bred in the country I used to knock the odd young pigeon on the head, throw the nests out of connies with eggs in (I looked on them as vermin, which they are really) but as you get older you get softer. Well done mark you old softie:thumbup1:
