  1. It is tracked only with a choice of 25, 35 or 38hp petrol. Belt drive, 29" width, no options.
  2. No remote option yet, 38hp is £14200+vat.
  3. Been in the pipeline for a while, I'll have prices tomorrow. Belt drive only to keep the price as low as possible, this is considerably cheaper than hydraulic.
  4. A new Bandit grinder will soon be available, 26.5hp, 35hp & 38hp petrol engines. Belt drive, 29" width, the 26hp machine weighs 644kgs.
  5. Bandit have had gas, electric & energy recovery systems for years now, the UK is a little behind the times
  6. Tier 3 is a level of engine, the new improved emissions are Tier 4. They are so much bigger & heavier due to all the extra components added, it's all for emissions that are being Fazed in. The tier 4i is interim where each supplier will get a set number of engines in a change over period but once there gone there gone. All engines are logged like cattle, for us above 173hp is already T4 only but above 700hp you can still have the T2 which tells me they have attacked the mass market first. £££££££
  7. You will see it on small chippers long before anything else, one because of the weight issue. As Diesel engines get more parts strapped to them this will become more of a headache to the sub 750 crew, also on small hp machines you won't notice much difference in running costs. We already have machines with ad blue, dpf etc but it doesn't make much difference to us. We already have a lot of T4 final engines, some T4i & seeing a lot less of the T3 engines, eventually these will disappear & we will have to have T4 with a large price increase. The large petrol chippers I have seen are very responsive and much quicker than a diesel unfortunately our petrol is a tad more expensive.
  8. There is Hartwood in Ottery St Mary (17 miles), call Simon 07909524526
  9. Never seen them before, everyday is a lesson.
  10. No sorry that's a new one on me.
  11. We sell those straight cutters if you like the wheel itself, it's the offset one we don't have.
  12. Think we have a Bandit revolution wheel in stock with Sandvik teeth but not the offset variety. We could also offer a green wheel.
  13. A few photos from the beginning of Bandit over Thirty years ago, some of the people pictured are still there today. A lot of the components used are also the same today which is a credit to Bandit for getting it right first time. They worked 48 hours straight to get the load out.
  14. Have you still got the M500?
  15. Thats my goal
  16. £100,000 deposit would get you an order placed 😳
  17. The cream of the crop.
  18. The M400 showing the std discharge & the extended optional version both with quick release discharge.
  19. £3500-£4000
  20. The M200 is 105kgs & the M300 is 145kgs, these are easy & I load them on my own all the time, they can be lifted with Two people. The M400 is a little heavier so an extra weetabix is required.
  21. That's the best one I've heard for a while.
  22. We fitted grease banks on our Bandit chippers 10 years ago for a period but for the time it takes to walk round a chipper & look...well. On large plant machines where you cannot reach etc a little different, like has already been said if you look at the bearings to see if grease is going in great, but if your doing that you might as well grease them.
  23. No sign of it yet, we have to build this model on our twin axles as the trailer from Knott was straining hence the ally fenders. We have also ordered 915 tracked.
  24. Jo Beau offer a 3" & 5" capacity chipper although the 5" is recommended from approx 30hp upwards. If you need details give me a shout.
