  1. Nice delivery today of one of our most popular models, the 990HD, this one fitted with 115hp. The Ditch Witch was a good piece of kit also.
  2. He told me yesterday he was fishing more now, nice chap.
  3. A good day for Dave James (aka Jesse).
  4. Stump grinding in Somerset
  5. Yes true Ian as long as the supplier as had fair chance to fix first.
  6. Petes about spot on there, lower rates for labour & mileage if any, if it's not warranty there will be a bill & any supplier can ask you to return the machine for repair at your cost. There are no consequential losses & as long as the dealer is trying to rectify that's fine. Only if they cannot fix or you have reoccurring faults being beyond reasonable do you have a case.
  7. I can do Tues, Thurs or Fri.
  8. I think this is the same LOR remote as the Carlton.
  9. Some problems we have had are batteries, aerial loose or damaged, switches, water ingress in the transmitter, water in the electrics if pressure washed, bad earths or connections which can be a nightmare, chaffing wire(also a nightmare). Anything more than this is usually requiring the manufacturer to bench test.
  10. Can you give me a bell or drop me an email to let me know the symptoms, we now have a new technical advisor within the company. I want to make sure there is nothing else we can do. Dean.
  11. This new model is exactly what your on about.
  12. Ah my way of thinking 😄
  13. I think the Bandit range of grinders are the nuts.
  14. Will you sort mine as well, same fault
  15. Mine also less than 300hrs,
  16. Did you have cast or steel bearings as one of ours failed last week also, I was speaking with a customer on here today who has had the coupler fail twice also.
  17. A Bandit is a long term investment, there are many working in the U.K. From 1999, some a lot older. We have machines at 18000hrs still working, even the first one built is still working. My customers generally sell my machines for me & I can never remember anyone saying 'I wish I never purchased this'. I still maintain over a longer term they are the cheapest machine, the second hand value has always been good & there is a demand. Service parts are cheap & the machines are simple to fix, maintenance is the easiest I know of. We offer more options than any other Manufacturer, fully proportional radio remote on all tracked machines. We do what we do & don't have much competition, we do everything ourselves & don't have any distributors.
  18. You will find all Bandit feed speeds are slower compared with other manufacturers, we have the largest feed apertures in the industry & you cannot feed at these faster speeds when your taking in that much material. We asked Bandit about increasing the motor speed but that was met with an abrupt no. I've always said if it was easy to put in these large letterbox openings everybody would have done it years ago.
  19. Hope you got a call today because I didn't. 👎
  20. Yes it has but I don't expect chipdisc bearings to break in half, I am told they are now steel not cast.
  21. We have had trouble with our TR6 this week also, broke its chipdisc bearings in half causing the disc to move & the knives hit the anvil, sensor etc. Apparently a common fault & bearings have now been changed, only 300hrs.
  22. We tend to build our machines wide for stability, pointless us having retracting tracks as our machines are not narrow hence the wide feed openings. Saying that you can get a 4ft wide 75xp from Bandit. This is our last 75T, all machines are radio remote also.
