  1. yew woodland mushrooms ,on ash sticks, drawknifed,after drying on the woodburner,and three cypress mushy`s,,,, sell these for flowerbeds,,,or pots,,,,,,

  6. kev,,,I ve some lovely stuff for mantle pieces,,,,oak etc,,,when you drop the yew butt off, we`ll mill,plane and cut you a nice one,,,,or if you really want to use the ash bring it along,,,

  10. well done mate,,,sometimes we need to just take a day out everynow and again,,,,I did wednesday,,,,took my silky and my secuetuers and hit the woods,,,,found loads of hazel,,,sun shoots,,,and sat for a while listening to the birds,,,,having switched my phone off,,,it was bliss,,,,,

    anyone doing any work on sequoia`s in the near future? wouldnt mind getting some branch wood, trunk etc,,,reading based but will travel,,,,thanks:thumbup1:
  13. I was using catskills butchers blockoil,,,and actually brought it back from NY,,,great stuff,,,is there a uk supplier?
  14. owning a house in barnet ,(lived there for 4yrs)then reviewing the job description,,,happier to just admire the trees without the red tape that goes with being employed by a hypicritical goverment body,good luck,,happier being self employed,,,,but sure its a very desirable job,,,,,,,must try not too be so synical,,,,

  17. mines on an 04,,and have to agree hate towing the chipper, but the ifor williams trailer is fine,,i use the transit maily,,,
  18. love mine,,had since demonstrator with five hundred miles on clock,,,now got 80,000,,,no probs,,,,usuall steering rod ends need greasing,common fault,,,but will run mine int the ground,,,,
