  1. love lebanon and deodar steve,just my preferance, nicer structure and the bark stays on and goes a deep colour, smells great too!

  5. hi Ian, different medium i know, but made this a few yrs ago out of an old bit of an RSJ,,

Interesting topic,,,,Ive given up beer most january`s for the last five yrs, and watch my weight drop by about 8lbs which also makes me feel fitter,less bloated, so this yr I`m (day 4) ditching the choclate,crisps etc, and will take some of your recommendations into account, love eggs,fish etc,, are potatoes a no go too?
  7. I had one when first started,,,pile of pants,,everything fell t bits,and it was only 3yrs old,,ended up in the auctions,,not good....

  9. this reindeer was easy to make but enjoyed lots of admiration and christmas spirit,,.my four yr old grandaughter wouldnt leave without it,,so moral of the story is,,take ime out and please someone for xmas xx

  15. firewood pile is a crime!but if you get offered less than firewood price i can see your point,,,woodturners need to pay a fair price for the timber,,,I`m fortunate that we do tree work and crafts,,so understand the value of the end product and its potential end value,after labour! something to remember is that not all woodturners are old guys with bushy eyebrows,who are retired and dont want to pay much,as its there hobby, getting your timber to a woodturner who sells lots and has a better out source is key!
  16. ifor williams,,100% biast as grew up 5miles from there depot in corwen n,wales. they ethos is top notch, employ loads of local people, and make quality strong trailers, there a success for a reason,,,, you get what you pay for,,,,(and no i dont own one)
