  1. next time you pass through holmfirth nip into wheelsbrook services, they have a range of led lights now inc led beacons for roof. £65 each Dean? ouch they had better be retinal melters for that..Ed

  7. do the hydraulic motors that run the tracks have loads of power? I'd say if it flies up steep bankings no probs go for it, no harm in trying, but if its a bit weedy to start with probably best not to bother..Ed
  8. should be able to find helpful vids on youtube on how to install cambium saver etc, easier to understand if you can see it, i find it hard to picture from words so seeing in flesh or vid helps. don't think you need that for cs38 but usually the instructors are only too happy to show tecniques etc..Ed
  9. ask on here, can't hurt can it? or try n find somebody local to you to show you the ropes etc..
  10. my friend (gardener) bought a new cheapo blower, think it was ryobi or something, after less than a minute you couldnt feel your hand.. get a stihl everytime.
  11. any useful load carrying vehicle vehicle wouldn't have most of the load area befind the rear axle, add to that a chipper putting its load on towball as well and them gay front wheels will be waving in the air, a few logs in the hopper might balance it a bit though.
  12. my bro (decorator) rang today while i was out at shop with mrs, he said he was at my house and had just chased someone out of garden and up road, they're wearing a grey hoodie,i ran out of shop charged down road to see a grey hoodied figure disappearing down footpath, emergency stop middle of road n ran down path to find my bro (wearing grey hoodie) laughing his ass off.. Idiot

  14. haha mine are banned from jobs now cos the big one wants to bite the chain as its going, and the little one brings sticks and stands right behind you staring at it, tripped many times, can't always leave them in cab now either as they break doorglass to 'play' with passing dogs..

  17. do fb's occur in the dark? saw a pic on here of some chinese fungi food, can't remember what sort but they were really elongated, could they be searching for light or as hamadryad said..maybe they are aerotropic?

  19. husky make blowers? never seen one, the bg86 is good though.

  21. could be mould.. seems to like leylandii bark though, would the xylaria be as long as they are because they are searching for light? do fb's search for light?
  22. few i found and can't id, there's the obvious ones and some i've not seen before, check out the seethru one hiding in the last pic, its a store i havn't emtied for 3yrs, finally ran out of seasoned wood in usual stores and fallen back onto these, the store is damp underneath and the pallets had rotted through..Ed
