  1. cheap van 4 sale, escort 1.8d carries loads of chainsaws+kit, everywhere (nearly) the landy goes.. £800 12mth test 6mth tax, clean van
  2. ok just googled enteridium lycoperdon and found lots of images of similar lumps, they all seem a bit different to my 'lump' but appear to be fastened to the tree by the same structure.. thanks to all for your help, i'll let it stay but keep an eye out for hama's beasties just in case haha

  4. where abouts in s-yorks are you? im working between bsly and wakey tomorrow, if its close i might be tempted to take a peek, i am now thinking it must be fungi as its only been found so far on deadwood..

  12. great picture ! are you doing up the series ? kinda haha its not been mot'd for a few years but shouldnt need much (i hope) spotted a couple of holes to weld up on chassis and needs mostly re-wiring but nothing serious.. starts first time and drives sweet, might have to put PAS on it though, just need a few dry evenings:thumbup:
  13. just put some part worn mud tyres on the 110, obviously i've tested them at full load through a swamp.. think they are greenway remoulds but at £50 for five inc good rims they will be better than the roadtyres.. more road noise but its worth it..
  14. its way up north just over the border on my dads farm, i cant get back up anytime soon but he's checking it daily, dont think he has a camera though, but it'd be good to find out as i play in the woods up there and dont fancy sharing them with nasty beasts..
  15. was asked to take out a 'hit' on a cockrel last wk, obviously i declined, but it was a funny request..
  16. for a couple of days i thought i was burning the most fuel on the planet, the sky was nice and clear of jet-trails for a bit though..

  18. i thought it looked fungi-like at first, but then wondered if it might be full of insects- spiders or moths or something, sounds like a job for stan (ley knife)
  19. found it lastnight in scotland stuck to a tree on my dads land, its about 6inch across and 10inch tall, soft enough to leave a fingerprint in, looks like its full of round lumps, if its identified as a bad thing then it will be incinerated, if its a goodie then it needs identifying and protecting, not likely to be a lump of putty im afraid as nobody goes close to this bit, please help.. Ed
  20. i cant find fault with my protector pro's, well worth the money and so comfy right from the start, take the beating well and usually wear them when in not working as well. however i know someone who had sole coming away on the brown ones (with spikes under sole) after a few weeks showed them to haix guy at aa show and was told that it was evident we didnt appreciate the technology that went into them... the pratt didnt appreciate how close to a pasting he was..
