  2. brilliant.. kinda reminds me of some vids on youtube of some guys getting kids to run up and kick a concrete football, funny as hell but they musthave been hurt..

  4. guy who taught rigging course at craven college, think his name was phil lowe or something, makes ace bags in loads of different sizes out of waterproof thick material, he trades under 'lowe maintainance' and they are exellent quality.. if anyone has his number i'd love to get some more from him.. mine holds rope harness helmet etc krabs throwline and strops, with large opening pockets, bright orange too. i'l pop up a piccie if i can find one

  11. my dad told me a tale from his REME days, they were servicing a load of sankey trailers with a guy fetching them in one by one, the guy got fedup and connected about twenty together and drove them all together like a snake.. as he got near the door the staff sargent stopped him and told him off for being a smartass -said if he was so clever he should reverse them through the door, needless to say they all went different directions.. would have loved to have seen that.

  20. good customers become like friends and of course we want to help them, but dont forget that in business the customer pays for 'everything' even if that means as ad15 says adding a bit on extra on other bits..
  21. worked for a company years ago who used untreated wood for cladding and had us spraying it with greeny watered down paint before inspection..
  22. maybe trim the bushes down slightly below the tree to give the appearance of more 'gap'? sometimes works..

  24. mileage is less important than overall condition, get underneath and spend some time looking round, check everything works, usual stuff like making sure oil filter isnt rusty etc, low mileage means nothing if its been used in seawater for a couple of years with speedo disconnected..
