  1. cant fell this one steve, its the wifes..
  2. stopped to put some air in the disco rear tyre, spotted this unfortunately placed nest, wasnt there a 2mths ago when boot floor was fitted, no eggs or anything maybe due to driving? this car gets used every day, and doesnt usually get parked in the same place very often, must have looked appealing to prospecting tenants for some reason though..
  3. had some uvex goggles for anglegrinding, like ski goggles, they were brilliant and never steamed up, might get some more for windy days as had a bit of sawdust get past my bolle shades and visor last year and give me a splinter inside my eyelid..
  4. oh theres not many big trees left round here..
  5. lets do this.. somewhere central (like huddersfield)
  6. hope you find something frank, we are doing a birmingham invasion this week, thankfully found someone to accept logs/chip within 1.5miles of job, must be no arbs down there:001_tt2:
  7. them plates the spikes go onto have a hidden captive nut that seizes up and spins, if it does it with the spikes on they have to stay on.. on my second pair of protector pro's and will replace with same nexttime, soo comfy
  8. very lucky to still have its head.. had similar thing with a dead log on the ground, saw went through it a bit quick, looked at cut straight afterwards and instead of wood there was straw inside and then a mouse popped its head out to see what was going on.. lucky mouse, put its home under a nearby holly.
  9. Bikini-less carving:thumbup:(crescent city CA)
  10. not the best pic but deffo cuts worth criticising
  11. had a relaxin day off today, spotted some lads from a local roofing company doing some tree work across the valley,(about 1/2mile away) cant be bothered going over yet so i stuck the camera to the telescope.. unopened can of fuel in the sun for a few hours, jeans and trackybottoms for protection (no helmets), and one of them wee minichippers.. not sure what happened but the stihl chainsaw had to have two guys arguing over why it wasnt working anymore for about an hour before they wanged it in the tranny van and gave up..
  12. haha can see you now, 'cmon you bloody thing' ..bang.. 'oh balls',
  13. haha the poor sod has done 27000 miles in that, feel for him..
  14. never actually been, my old boss used to blow up his v8's there all the time in the dragsters, was my job to transfer all the bits to next block ready for him to blow another conrod out through the side.. he was actually quite good and only ran the garage to pay for his quartermile addiction..
  15. wasnt sure about the top hander, but that pole saw looks neat, all depends on weight saving i guess.
  16. heli-logging? not sure what they were just below the bamboo, trumpet like green tall plants, but there are some nice touches in there..

  23. Does anybody on here make wooden field gates, i need a pair to span an 11ft gateway, dont mind if they are 5ft 6inch wide each or one 8ft and one 3ft. the important bit is they need to be 5ft 6inch high.. they are to go across a driveway to keep a very bitey german shepard away from edible pedestrians. local supplier said 3wks and they couldn't make them that high anyway..?? wants to be same spacings as standard field gate - just higher, dont mind travelling a bit as customer will pay me for right products, Thanks guys, Ed-07747022678
  24. im still too shy to pull a lunge in public, got caught practicing in an apple this morning though.. can still feel the stretch now
  25. saw this today.. nailed to a tree, not sure what nails were used though. idiots..
