  1. it can usually be overhauled, i pay £40 for mine to come back rebuilt and painted, there should be someone who can do it locally for you.
  2. when its this cold metal contracts/shrinks slightly and in your case lets water out, when the metal warms up it expands and the leak disappears, unfortunately i can't tell you which bit of metal it is thats leaking, try shining a torch up from underneath next time it happens to find where it is, it could be something cracked or just a joint that needs tightening or a new gasket. the squeal sounds like your fanbelt needs tightening, hope this helps. Ed.
  3. i'll check what mine is in the morning, its so big it only just fits in the box under the seat and will start world war three if required, im bad for leaving the lights on overnight so a big battery is essential, if you aren't using the motor much then pop a solar panel trickle charger connected to keep it in tip top condition.
  4. hahaha a car was stuck in a drift in blizzard conditions lastyear and the driver asked me to help, i said i would so long as he would agree for me to push him out in the disco,(his 4x4 suzuki swift was sat on a foot of packed drift), it gave me great pleasure to assist and i laughed all the way home at the two disco bumper turret sized dents in his tailgate, he was so happy as he had been there 4hrs:thumbup: guilty? not really, time for another log methinks, this is the tailgate beforehand:001_smile: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QKHSHguQZY]YouTube - holme moss at midnight,[/ame]

  14. got my karma two days ago when an old lady flagged me down and wouldn't let me go until she had given me a tenner, i took a whitebeam down for her lastyear that her late husband planted 30yrs ago as it was throwing roots up all over the lawn, she was gutted about losing the tree but was made up with the view she hadn't seen in 30yrs, i got a bit of the stem turned into a sweet bowl by a friend and dropped it off for her a couple of months ago and she flagged me down to say how all her relatives couldn't believe i gave it her for free.. im still wondering what to spend the tenner on, yeah probably diesel:thumbup:
