1. Due to plan not coming together I need a timber trailer/tractor/driver for a day this week (ideally) to shift timber from Chipping Norton to Oxford. Bit of a haul I know but needs must. Thanks Kav 07703192775
  2. Thanks. Yeah would be nice to see it go for something other than chip n logs
  3. Just apple, all the plummy type stuff is pretty small and heading for the chipper Will get pics of walnut's tmz before they come down on wed. Could cut to any lenght, might try to hook stumps out too!
  4. Landrover is just shy of 200000. Gonna drive it til it dies;)
  5. Hi We have timber from tree/site clearance job and its a bit far for us to take it back to our yard. Mix of Walnut/Oak/Ash/Fruit and bit of Conny 15cm to 60cm cut to 2.4m. We are guessing about 10 to 15m3. Will be roadside in next few days. Please call 07703192775 Cheers Kav
  6. Morning I am looking at getting a chipper for a 35hp alpine. Was thinking about tp130. Anyone had any experience with this or other suggestions. Ideally we need something with hopper inline with machine so its not too wide, Cheers

Hi

Just seen you post about scrubclearing. We have a alpine with flail, winch and trailer and access to tracker chipper. If you would be interested in subbing some of the job to us I would be happy to come and have a look. We have loads of experience of clearance and bad access sites. Cheers

Thanks i will give them a look. Its not that often i need to move chip but when we do its loads. We have been looking at all manner of different vehicle/trailer combo. Thinking second landrover/tipper or maybe 3.5t flatbed for tractor with trailer carrying timber trailer behind so it can be moved in a oner. Probally near the wieght limit though and asking for vosa stop

we have thought of all manner of plans and always come back to 'need a tipper' Looks like a good case for a loadhandler. Do they go that big? that would take some winding

Yes great for moving the tractor but not so great for moving chip. The ply sides add a certain style too:001_smile:

Not over loaded but still not what I wanted to shovel at 7 this morning. Looks nice though
  25. Nice. Maybe try a hilift jack and a chain(or notch the post) and you might get it out in a oner
