Right im going to hijack my own thread. We now need to get a mini (3/4-1tonne) digger in the garden. The steps are super steep and the retaining wall is 5-6' high on the road side. Anybody have any thoughts on how to get a machine in? I was thinking hiab up on the wall, or some very sketchy winching up some ramps:confused1: Thanks for any advice

Nice looking wood. I am looking for some elm boards for river rivetment works, need enough to do 4m x1m high, if anyone could supply that would be great. Also suggestions for timber for stakes that would stand up to being wet. I am in Oxford but happy to collect if needed. Thanks Kav 07703192775

Cheers will give them a buz in the morning. Access is bad, up some steps and through garden gate. Its that or drag and have truck and chipper park on the other side of the road! Could just burn and upset the neighbours
