1. Does anyone know of a tidy U1600 (or similar) for sale? Cheers
2. Sorry for the slight derail. I run a countyside management company- woodland, rights of way maintenance etc plus some tree care. I am looking for a suitable industry accreditation scheme. Could any one suggest anything please
3. Sounds good thanks?
4. Evening. I seem to have spent more time than I'd rather winching myself and others out over the last few months. As a result my winch cable is looking a bit ropey (sorry for the pun!) I'm thinking of replacing it with rope instead of wire. I'd welcome people thoughts on what to go with. Cheers
5. Sorry I should have posted. They have now gone. Thanks Kav
6. Good morning! We would be interested in hearing from subcontractors looking for scrub clearance and forestry work. Thanks Kav 07703192775 [email protected]

10.

Hi We are based near Oxford and can supply cord timber, firewood in any volume

Thanks Kav 07703192775

11. Yeah winched it with landrover (doubled up with snatch block and through blackthorn hedge!!) Pulled mower out first as it was just an anchor then pulled front end of tractor round and it sort of climbed out with a bit of help. Headland was just a bit too greasy for landrover. Up hill and side slope and if that went in it was going to be tirfor time
12. This bridleway has claimed many a mower over the years! Got landrover in to winch out it then had to use other tractor as an anchor to winch landy up headland.
13. Does anyone know who can Loler crane near Oxford cheers
14. yeah we always have the winch in the truck
15. There are plenty more with no photos!!
16. Not arb but we finished boardwalk and surfacing job today. Well happy with the result, guys did a cracking job in rubbish weather!

Pruning cuts?

I have been hedging for a good few years. If taking off branches with saw (rather than hook) i've always done 'taget pruning' type cuts (branch collar etc) out of habit from other work. Have been thinking would i be better to leave a stub or flush it a bit to encourage for sprouting or doesn't it matter? Cheers.
18. We have a tp130 on our 35hp bcs. As said above its ok but def on the wieght limit!! Probally not as quick as timberwolf150 but its gets through stuff, would be great if it had second feed roller.
19. Needs chip bin;)
20. They kinda look right over there. There is a massively jacked landrover near me and it just looks a bit silly!!
21. I'm thinking of entering a comp this year. Just wondering what the situation is with 'laying off' from the previous section and tying in binders etc Cheers

Aspen cans

We are mowing yards so have better storage. I thinking about a barrel again. Can someone recommend a decent pump please or is a tap best? Cheers
23. I used stock board when i had a tipper. Just cable tied on. Good for covering a lawn if its a bit wet under foot too
24. We have front weights and guarding and its enough for the flail, winch etc and trailer on the flat. It is a bit back heavy with the chipper on but we just take it steady! Im thinking I might ballast up my wider 'forestry' set of tyres
25. I've been thinking the same although never done it. I was using a 550 last season but with 8tooth sprocket it was almost a bit to quick for hedging If i had mainly small stuff I was thinking about a battery saw as nice and quiet and doesnt have to be sat on tickover while laying Cheers
