    Im 24 i have days where i find it hard to pull myself up a tree then other days where i can run up a tree, my old mans 45ish and still keeps up lol:biggrin:

    Ha ha those little ass fart hand held blowers are crap you might as well get hair dryer cheaper, we use the br600 we can move small logs and children with it very handy for large jobs. I find the little hand helds reck my hands vib where as the back pack is smooth never had a problem been using it since 07 solid still running spot on.

    Hi mate we can cut them into lengths but might be difficult to move as there is a gate to go through and man power im guessing could only lift 500kg bits ?. Were cutting the tree on weds so ill let everyone know the situ on weds eve if we can leave it in lengths we will if not we shall log up for will or whom ever guurantees to pick it up cheers all thanks for the help:thumbup:

    Hi Will, I will cut all sections into 1ft sections, Als have a job on the following monday about 2 tonn of euc log if your interested brentwood again ?.

    Dont know much about milling, the trunk goes upto 80ft perfectly straight about 3 1/2 feet at the bottom. I can cut to any size as long as guaranteed a pick up. Im sure there is a decent earning to be made from it im just not kitted to deal with it. Let me know cheers tel

    The difference is minimal but a tw is a far better all round contractors machiene cheaper to fix easier to fix plenty of spares etc. Jensen are the same but no jensen schliesing can touch my 24hp 575kg chipper the smallest most productive chipper i have ever used or seen remember tow weight the jensen is heavy then the tw equivalent more strain on your van clutch all day does wear them alot quicker to.

    As title any one know of a tip site in chelmsford got about 1-2 tonne of sycamore trunk and 1 load of chip plus poplar logs ? any help will be appreiciated.

    Haix protector pros/extreme so far mine on over a year old treds worn half out but so comfty and doesent wear a hole into the ankle zone unlike every other aquafell are no even close to these aquafell are hard on your soul and arch so if you like your feet givem a treat haix protector pro/extremes

    Few weeks back doing a willow with green house underneath got 99% of the tree down second from last branch section 4ft by 6inch dia chucked 10ft away from green house bloody thing bounced 11ft backwards and broke a panel a felt a right ttt.

    I got a mint 24/150 id sell for £5000 no vat been the best investment ive made. performs imo as good as any 150 new anvils bearings engine was checked recently by UEP and was mint 6inch 24hp engine 575kgs. This is 2001 sold to me by orange plant and owned before as a hire machine low hours hence the mint condition never had a problem. let me know

    Thanks mate i think its abit far away thats chelmsford way but i do have a job wednesday but its conifur chippings would you be intrested i know the power stations take it ?. Id like to try an establish some decent contacts around the county so when its not economical for me to bring the chip/logs home i can take it to some one else who can use sell it on Let me know cheers Geoff,
