  1. First thing you do is check all wiring connections clean wd40 then if that dont work change relays one by one also check the rectifier my one was cruddy with blue oxidization cleaned it and no stress worked fine again. If all above does work then get your wallet out £300 for new no stress, my no stress stays red never goes green what ever the revs ?
  2. You just should not be doing tree work without insurance common sense. Thats called a cowboy, Being insured is part of the service and protection a customer is paying for. I think you should be telling your customers your not insured see how many will want to use you i guess that really sums up what should or shouldent be done.
  3. Just had this with my timberwolf disconnected all electrical connectors can of wd40 cleaned them up check no stress started working again the cold weather speeds up corrosion on the terminals
  4. Been climbing since i was 17/18 im 24 now running my company since 06 and love the job. Also hate the job to sometimes ie people not turning up snow rain wind etc tools breaking cost of insurances bla bla bla. But then come those crisp spring mornings when your high up clear blue sky freshest air around and then i think i fkin love my job. Aches and pains well apart from needing a poo when your 70ft up i seam ok

  7. Could it be the no stress unit ? the little light works on it just cnt think what it is i did wiggle a wire and the rollers worked for a second ?.
  8. Any one have or know where to get the exhuast for the 20-24hp honde engine, my one fell off today Also both rollers stopped working and had to bypass using the red wires control box works fine what could it be Thanks for any help

  11. Hey mate appreciate the info i am thinking about keeping it but i need a decent tree surgeon that can drive, yeah i got the code lol that would piss me off.

     

    Its got a iveco warranty so that covers me for a bit what model and hp is urs wats gone wrong if you dnt mind saying

  14. Apparently 1580kgs inc driver and passenger with new box weighs under 80kgs so based on that should be 1500kgs ill get it on a weigh bridge tho and see exactly as id think more like 1300-1400 Still more then my crewcab but less space

  16. Im hopefully getting the 116bhp one 2.3hpi turbo dont know alot about them Im hoping 116bhp will be enough as trying to find 140 etc seam hard if not rediculously expensive. Are there any known problems or things you have come across ?.
  17. clean your carb, i get a non start sometimes i blow the fuel line starts right away

  19. Im in the market for a new tipper i looked at a 116bhp iveco 2.3 looked nice im after the best power and carry capacity does any one have the new shape iveco or transit any pros and cons to look for any help appreciated
  20. No worries, The LA really did not wanna do it but after the picus they had no choice if limbs did fall off or the tree fell in time they would have been sued for not making it safe.
  21. im not to sure i know they are ally and a resin very thin strong and light, one of the best crowns on i tree ive seen
  22. Pollarded this holm oak for the LA had extensive decay detected by a picus test 80% + decay in the stem with a structurally weakening twist in the trunk

  25. I think the problem is there are to many new firms, unfortunatly its winter when it really shows. Nothing you can do but ride the bandwagon and some fall off along the way. Just make good use of the free time !
