  1. Mate you got no hope for that price you need 4-5 grand just for a half decent older one. either hire or save up
  2. Chipper builders are cheaper builders just using cheap crap substandard parts and still charging more were all mugs i tell ya,
  3. OMG who makes these rules they should be shot sacked then shot again. Id never even entertain conditions like that unless i was charging £10000 per day lol
  4. Chain was fine lots of sticky sap sticking to the saw

If the tree leans in the direction of felling a dog tooth stops a barber chair i think but this was not the reason my guide bar was to small so normal gob and i cut through the middle and match each side spot on otherwise could loose control of a 2 plus ton log the last angled cut just stops imo the tree sitting back and breaking off but i use it becuase it gives me more accuracy to get the perfect gob. The last angled cut releases the tree so the workers know exactly when to pull and i know exactly when to give it legs lol.
  6. Its a problem when you get itchy balls hahaha, yep the 880 has abit of grunt, yep lots of logs probly 8-10 ton. Wish i filmed the dismantle dropped some huge limbs made a thud and blew up that made the groundys day hehe:thumbup:

  12. Get a danequip brilliant had a 10 year old one then got a new 27sp one fits down cracks and punches out any size stump second hand prices £2-2500 ebay

Is this the right bearing for my tw125 NSK 6205du Seams to cost £3 and has not lasted 6 months in my chipper i know the company that did it charged me alot more than that, this company also did not change my main bearing even tho asked. any info appreciated. My old man used them and his bearings collapsed within 3 months
  14. The honda vtwin has an electronic fuel cut off solenoid. its a needle that covers the fuel line when switched off. Blockage in carb ?

  18. two companys came in around£8500 and one has come in at £8150 all plus vat ?. some companys offered a few little perks extended warranty etc. make sense to get a few prices

  20. do you have the new honda engine gx630 or the older gx620 i preferr these to the diesel for compact size, but ive been offered £8500 plus vat £10200 is that a good price for a new one

  24. got a cewcab for sale lol im plugging everywhere haha, its mint worth every penny and it carrys 1-1.1 ton weighed on a bridge inc tools and me 85-90kg driver. I tried to get any driver an being 25 for less than a week they asked me sir please pull your pants down count to 10 and well give you our price haha so looking to sell.
  25. People slate tw but always had spares next day and never had it break down other then wear parts not a problem, for the money best chipper around. Of course jensens schliesings are all great but there way over priced and over engineered isnt good you pay for a machine not working to its full capability and there all heavy. Im getting a new chipper and i think tw is the best all rounder
