  1. Your all sad. Just buy the silky yourselves
  2. Give them a wiggle, if it moves, it'll probably come off easily. I wouldn't go hacking them off though unless you knew you could!
  3. Silly phone, looking on a small screen made me think beech. Looking now on a bigger one I can tell its not. Whoops I'm not sure on the weights, only ever seen them attached!
  4. Nice bargain. Get me one! I thought I was going to see 'I got one of the last 200ts for £850, Bargain!'
  5. It officially changed to include tree idents and a pole climbing part at the start of 2010
  6. Ok, got another big hedge to tackle, lucky me. Client wants as much as possible to be taken off, as much as a third! They have been topped before, I was thinking of going just below those points which would be 10ft or so. Don't want it to look daft but I've stressed it will if you cut it in half! It's a job for later in the year, after nesting season, plus I don't have the time ATM to do it all at once. I was thinking a tracked mewp in for a couple days.
  7. To do it now you could mow it fortnightly to keep getting the tops and spray it in autumn. Just spraying it now won't do a thing. The bug introduced is just as effective as aphids, they are a biological control, but won't kill their host as that would be pointless, they may slow it down in larger numbers, but you will find that it won't hit is as much as you'd like
  8. All beech it seems there, that last one is an alder flower! I see they are common on beech, seen one on oak too. Got a pic somewheres!
  9. I agree with this, however you can't be sure of the extent of the infection or how long it's been there, it could have fruited once and caused a panic, which could not have a huge amount of decay inside, but it can go for years without fruiting. Still be careful, remember the pics!
  10. If you were a lot closer I'd have had some of that!
  11. Speaking of which, I'm assuming your there tomorrow? I'll be there on Saturday!
  12. run the rope through your natural crotch and that should manage!
  13. 4 weetabix for me! currently on a box of lucky charms though!
  14. thats probably true , but that tree does need recording!
  15. spraying it during growing season will only kill off the new growth, it wont stop it, spray it in autumn just before senescence, and you will have a much better rate of control. use glyph at 20l/ha and it will prove effective. other than that, stem inject.
  16. Very nice Steve That is EXACTLY what I want! If you don't mind me asking, how much was that?
  17. Don't put the blame on yourself for the parcel companies fault. Packages get lost a lot it seems. Just get onto their customer service and give them some grief and it will sort the issue. Don't worry about them!
  18. I'll be happy collecting a few from the US in June. Work out a lot cheaper. The 64gb wifi 3G is 829$ making it £530 and the same model over here is £649!
  19. thats what happened to one woman who said her husband couldnt buy another one!
  20. Apple sold more iPads than any of their rivals sold PCs last year. They must be doing something right. Resolution is 2048x1536. That's higher res than HD tellys at 1920x1080.
  21. Announced 15 mins ago. No name announced for it yet. But it sports Retina display iPhone 4 camera Quad core graphics Faster processor 4g support (would only be America) Same battery life And all for the same price. Released march 16th in the us, no date announced here yet.
