  1. And again. There's been some crackers today!
  2. And some more. Can only do 2 at a time!
  3. Couple on the pine, phaeolus? Can't remember off the top of my head!
  4. Thanks Tony for a very enjoyable, tiring and informative day, definitely learned a few things, especially about fistulina! Was good to meet you and Tobias, putting names to faces is always good! I got some really good pics. I'll put a few up now through tapatalk, it doesn't like lots of large images so there may be a lot of posts! I'll get more up tomorrow. I'm now nursing a fat blister on my foot, regret not wearing my airstreams now!
  5. That's high hedges Right to light only comes in with buildings
  6. How about a container then screw some nice milled oak on it so it looks like a log cabin? It's your neighbours who see it more anyway
  7. Adjust the carb, if you are nearby a dealer get them to set the carb up for you, they will probably set the chain too. It needs to be leaned off a bit. Covers and bars and chains will dpget hot, usually not burn your fingers hot though. Are there springs in the clutch? There should be. If the chain hasn't been tightened already, do that, too much will cause friction and will cause burrs on the bar guide rails. Too little and you get 'slap' from the chain underneath the nose sprocket and above the drive sprocket on the bar. What chain oil are you using?
  8. Yes, there are belts that link the shaft to the flywheel. As the shaft is higher on the machine and it has the hopper and flywheel lower the belts help to keep the pto shaft straight at working speed, not that it makes any difference if it's on a slight angle, but it definitely has belts between the two!
  9. Good job I raided tesco before! Got plenty of sustainence to keep me (and a small army!) going! Looking forward to it. Weather forecast seems ok. I'll still bring some wet proofs!
  10. The shields will still work with almost any case. Some slide in an out ones it grips too much but it saves having a million scratches on your screen. Then go to istyles.com to get a skin. Bulk free and scratch proof case!
  11. Should have gone for the 4 Sam! They will stop supporting the 3GS soon after the new model comes out. I have tried cases but never got on with any. Got an invisibleshield and just use a toothpick to clean out the holes every now and again. Just be conscious of it, I always make sure the screen is to my leg in my pocket. I can only then break the back bit if I get whipped or hit with something.
  12. could you not get a container? for a third of that you can get a 10ft container
  13. i went over to a lockjack, i tried a VT a few weeks back and did not like how grippy it was compared! for people who dont like using the advanced hitch climbing style of pull up then tend slack, why not just get a 50cm sling and put that between you and your carabiner, then you can just pull from underneath leaving no slack!
  14. my bollard is strapped on with two 5t straps, ive been using ratchet straps well before i got the bollard so i familiar with them, you do need some slack for it to get hold and keep hold! Hope the guy recovers well, probably wasnt just a little bit of fluff!
  15. we will probably be there around 9. looking forward to it!
  16. you could try stobarts biomass, i know they collected some from kev stephenson
  17. fraser fir seem to be increasingly popular, the ones we have are very tightly grown so are narrow, more people buy these to save space, still not as popular as the nordman though!
  18. It's a rather extreme form of trolling as I know it. I visit The Art of Trolling: Yahoo Answers, Chatroullette, Omegle and it is all light hearted and nothing even half as serious as that. I think it's bang out of order what he did!
  19. i had that yesterday, up a very bendy silver birch in a front garden which had all the gusty wind blowing straight into it, made for an interesting climb, got half way done from the ground with my trusty ebay special pole pruner and found these little buggers! The mother had a look of shock on its face as i approached it!
  20. It's not my chipper. I know it's belt driven from the shaft but I'm not sure on it's adjustments in other parts of the machine.
  21. I'm all for looking flash doing the work but don't want to buy a pair that will fall to bits. I've heard good reviews and not so good about the ones I'm interested in. 4 years out of this current pair of hiflex ain't so bad, I mustn't be working hard enough? I'll save up for some 2011 stretchies I think, and get them in a way to save vat!
  22. he's the Big Boss of Beechwood Trees and Landscapes Certainly give him a call. Can you not get a personal development loan? Search for it on Website of the UK government : Directgov
