  1. No, but have been to look at a Beech tree at wellington, Aerosols, and did also notice my Hornbeam were doing a LOT much better than your Hornbeam , how's work , and how's your chipper after it fell off your truck ? poo when it rains it pours . Its been a funny old year. Are you keeping good
  2. Pseudomonas syringae pv Maculicola
  3. I'd be more thinking Pseudomonas syringae but I would have to references it in more detail.
  4. Great passion, that's what its all about, over time everything else will fall into place, if you were a bit closer I'd give you a shout, just give it time I'm sure someone more local to you will give you a try.
  5. Just plod on slowly and deal with any objections should they develop .
  6. An Affidavit from a respectable professional member of society should suffice, even better if the are a Parish Councillor, or linked some how to your LA , Its sad to say, its not what you know, its who you know.
  7. 10 years ,all you would need to do is apply for a certificate of lawfulness , and in the case of an unlawfull mobile home its only 4 years. Don't waste your money on a consultant if you can prove your position and the length of time just submit the paper work your self.
  8. Not entirely sure about installation specifications , only know that yes I will have an erection at that point in time of the year
  9. FM , last point, that was never TPO'd, should of been, that would have saved it from that butchery , great shame prominent tree which ONCE had great potential.
  10. One final point, once you have all stopped admiring the fungal mass and how splendid it looks and how great it would be to watch the fruiting bodies develop over the years, look at its location.
  11. Lets go one further, even if such horrific reduction works had been justifiable the resulting stress would have if not already been present induced Cryptostroma corticale as a secondary problem .
  12. Don't get me wrong on this one, on this particular sp, better to remove than butcher, this photo shows well the problem and additional expense than can be left with a home owner once the trailer boys have gone.
  13. Yawn, Yawn, that reduction was the nail in the coffin door, Remove, besides Polyporus squamosus I would also bet that that tree has Cryptostroma corticale who ever agreed to reduce such a fine tree should be shot.
  14. I've not had a grinder of Dean YET, ... we have had lots of long discussions regarding grinders, via email and at shows, and compared to other dealers he is the man, at the point I got my last grinder his tracked concept was just that, I was not 100 % sure he would build one but hats off to you Dean, to anyone thinking of buying from Global Recycling they have the full on best reference from me. He is right into his stuff.
  15. if I hadn't bought me Joe Bo I,d have bought yours, very interested in how it compare's, mine has already earn't me a lot of money. Should have said , i'm also thinking of retiring for the second time and buying a Bentley,
  16. Yeer ,. now don't all think i'm an idiot, I'm supposed to be retired , but still climb, I'v also been buying second hand different brand boots , and other kit on ebay and reselling them as I see fit, or don't like them, just to try and find the ultimate boot, everyone's requirements will differ but for me Sip Pro fits well, and are very fit for purpose, flexible, great grip if you have to scuffle climb and great with spikes, down side not too much bounce when walking for knees . They also let your feet breath but down side so i'v been told, not water proof ??? not had that problem yet, got mine from FR jONES.
  17. I just got some Sip Pros , bit stiff but molding in nicely to the shape of my feet and ankles, think I like them.
  18. Dean, that really is a beautiful machine, how wide , heavy, and how much. kind regards Jesse, we met at the last show.

Just out of interest do any of you members actually know a Royal Marine, and for those ex RM please forgive my question, its just to gauge the average perception of RM on Arbtalk, and don't worry I will tell you of my own characteristics..

All thanks to all who have input to my thread, Fen01 yes I understand your view, but its still a crazy expectancy of the powers that be to believe that all men can act consistently within the rules of engagement of the Geneva Convention under such duress conditions, day in day out , night in night out, consecutive tours , that life style is NOT SUSTAINABLE and would send most people over the edge. Compound that with the knowledge that you mite know and even have seen first hand ,how the enemy have treated you and your comrades, ied's and the like , no, he did what I'm sure I would have done under those conditions, and there an't no way I would of given him mouth to mouth. Isn't a shot to the chest a more humane approach , And I expect when the true light of day emerges of this wholly ourfull war that more trues will emerge . Not just of this horrific incidence but of others.

Agree . They had also been touting our MARINES by hanging our boys body parts from sticks. I fully understand if the mods remove this bit but please leave my original post.

Its only to say each to there own and its only my view, but I hope more people will take the time to try and understand whats happened , and the wider implications to this mans family and his career as a Royal Marne, I suppose what if I'm honest I am trying to say, I may have done the same.
