  1. Was that in your truck? ?
  2. True, but I'd hope there was a subtle but discernible difference between most recreational forum users and the sort of weapons-grade throbber who craves attention, whether positive or negative, so desperately that they try to pick arguments as the only way to get some human interaction.
  3. Must be lonely where he lives.
  4. Good info about surveys, albeit more development based. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/bats-surveys-and-mitigation-for-development-projects Also from BCT. https://www.bats.org.uk/our-work/buildings-planning-and-development/avoidance-mitigation-compensation I still suggest that your best course of action is to talk to either your local Bat group or the Bat Conservation Trust.
  5. Unless there is a clause in your T & Cs allowing them to do this then they are in breach of contract and you can still pursue them for it. It's called a unilateral variation of terms IIRC.
  6. Most sane people would look at one bad review against a lot of positive ones as bad mouthing, especially if you answer plainly and undramatically as to why they are leaving a negative. It would be worth pointing out in your answer that any negative feedback only came after you needed to pursue late payment.
  7. We've got an area like that near me too.
  8. You can if your terms and conditions state that all materials remain your property until full and final payment of the invoice.
  9. I've had exactly the same with a contractor. I've been patient, I let him make a payment plan when he was struggling to pay it but he has failed to keep to it. I've lost patience now so will be filing the papers next week.
  10. Should be fine.
  11. Re-invoice them giving 14 days to pay or court action will follow. Money claim on online if they still don't pay up, not forgetting to add on your extra expenses. https://www.gov.uk/make-court-claim-for-money
  12. Our Harry can have his moments too.
  13. Just to set everybody's mind at rest, I was asking for a friend.
  14. It's why we picked him from the RSPCA. I identified with his pissed off demeanour in his picture.
  15. Big Harry enjoys the occasional fell.
  16. DIY SOS and a shitload of MDF. Job done.
  17. Following.
  18. Exactly. They were just people. Property is much more important, especially church property.
  19. Some posters on here are more Hebrews 13:8.
  20. Like Windsor Castle or York Minster, you mean?
  21. I was watching a documentary about Leadbelly and it cropped up to remind me of it.
  22. Oi! Bats have standards, I'll have you know.
