    True, but I'd hope there was a subtle but discernible difference between most recreational forum users and the sort of weapons-grade throbber who craves attention, whether positive or negative, so desperately that they try to pick arguments as the only way to get some human interaction.

    Unless there is a clause in your T & Cs allowing them to do this then they are in breach of contract and you can still pursue them for it. It's called a unilateral variation of terms IIRC.

    Most sane people would look at one bad review against a lot of positive ones as bad mouthing, especially if you answer plainly and undramatically as to why they are leaving a negative. It would be worth pointing out in your answer that any negative feedback only came after you needed to pursue late payment.

    You can if your terms and conditions state that all materials remain your property until full and final payment of the invoice.

    I've had exactly the same with a contractor. I've been patient, I let him make a payment plan when he was struggling to pay it but he has failed to keep to it. I've lost patience now so will be filing the papers next week.
