  1. Didn't scroll down fully and just saw the pic with "Bostad" in the headline. Thought they weren't happy with what you were doing for a minute .
  2.:lol:. Some wee came out!
  3. Google "Labrador lion mane" and select images, It's got to be one of those hoaxing. Who the hell wouldn't notice a missing lion
  4. I love the story of Buzz aldrin being asked face to face by a reporter whether the moon landings were faked in a studio. Buzz's reply..........he smacked him in the nose . Don't dis-respect the buzz man:laugh1:
  5. In regards to HASAWA and provision and use of PPE. What i mean is where do you stand if you were swooped on by the HSE executive and you weren't wearing chainsaw boots. Seeing as they are terrible for running away in what would be the course of action
  6. Is it a legal requirment to wear chainsaw protection boots when using a saw as an employee or self employed?? Apologies if its a daft question
  7. Watch greece pull out of the euro and then spain and italy crumble. Then the S@#T storm will really start. This is just the start ladies and gents!!
  8. For all your requirments regarding diet and excercise programs have a look at simplyshredded.com . Its a site i use a lot and is good reading for beginners or experienced people. Nutrition and training regimes are a real science and a lot of people put tons of effort in but in the wrong way and with the wrong diet. With a bit of prior knowledge you can get results far far faster than just jogging and eating salads believe me .
  9. Dunno if the pic has ever appeared on here but i saw a cracking one on the web before. 2 guys tidying after a hard days graft installing bollards outside a building to stop people parking on the pavement. The pic clearly shows they have bollarded their van completely in and would not be getting off home any time soon
  10. Tell her they are occupied by the lesser spotted flim flam tit and they nest for 12 months a year and such they can't be reduced
  11. 5% on savings is a helluva rate nowadays . And profits to charity to boot. Good on the fella!
  12. Exactly my point we have no idea, you seem to be judging the guy due to his "Family circumstances". Maybe this is this lads way of not putting the full details of a personal issue on an open forum. I for one would not comment on an open forum either questioning someones family circumstances:thumbdown:. Maybe you would treat an employee of yours differently..........or maybe not. Volumes spoken
  13. Me personally, i'd pay the kid. Leaving is something it sounds like he probably didn't want to do from the sounds of his post. When the chips are down in bad times it seems some types of people enjoy kicking you while you are there:thumbdown:. He did the week, pay the week IMO. What goes around and all that!
  14. Good on ya:thumbup1:. I allways like to hear that people can get through bad times no matter what life throws at them. Never forget the folks who were there for you in tough times and never never forget the ones who were'nt
  15. Why not, He earned it, or am i missing something:confused1:. If you had a crisis would you just not bother to collect money owed from jobs you have done. If im reading your post right your customers (in your own opinion) would be right to refuse you payment after a certain ammount of time if you did'nt attempt to collect it due to a crisis
  16. What were the guys family circumstances? Surely something in your life has happened family wise which made you think the whole world and its dog can go to hell for all you care, you need to be with your family! If not your'e a lucky guy and trust me the day will come to us all!
  17. Were you subbing? If not inform the employer that you require them to pay an NI contribution and you will be speaking to HMRC regarding how much tax you should pay on monies earned from their company. If he aint squeeky clean in those areas he may just pay for your silence . Worth a go!
  18. Given that i am registered to NOT receive any cold calls from a uk company (And they are aware of this when they call you, they just choose to ignore the legality of the opt out clause) then they would struggle taking any action against me when the first evidence they spoke was "We called this man illegaly":sneaky2:. Do i pre-meditate what im going to say to them?. No. Am i angry about running for the phone 5 times a day?. Yes. Do i choose to make their life a little un-comfortable in return?. Yes.They are a pain and a pest and in worst cases horrible bullies. Am i happy to be the same in return? Hell yes .
  19. Yes but thats just downright racism. At no point am i racist, i am however a sex pest untill they choose to hang up . I can't see a court in the land hitting down on me for for being uncouth to an un-solicited caller really can you?
  20. I have a bit of fun now and then if im bored and have a spare 5 minutes. With the indian cold callers i break into the broadest lancastrian accent and act interested in their call. Then i will throw in the odd "Has ta ever stuck butt plug in tha self lad" etc... . ( Believe me i have used one of the milder ones i ask them as its an open forum:sneaky2:.) . I find they allways answer with a yes sir and carry on prattling about their product. With the english cold callers i just break into pure sexual harrasment (Male or female) and it usually throws them to the point where they hang up. I asked one female what colour underwear she had on (Again one of the milder ones) and she replied "You cant say that to me". You cold called me honey:confused1:, Call again and you will be met with the same response:lol:. Give it a try guys it takes some of the frustration of theses idiots calling away:thumbup:
  21. . Never seen a skeleton of a cat up a tree, They do indeed get hungry and figure out a way down. There is of course the alternative headline for this thread had fortune not favoured the young lad that day, "15 year old boy killed in 50ft fall trying to rescue a cat"..
  22. Of all the talk about walnut and the fabulous prices and that so and so sold this for this ..... 97% is utter, total complete cobblers! Don't listen to it! Oh my god this is so untrue, My mates uncles best friends cousin sold a walnut root ball to a gunstock manufacturer for a bazillion pounds and now owns his own island in the maldives
  23. If any of you newbies are reading this post you should be moving heaven and earth to get on this job even if its just brash dragging. Show your work ethic and make some contacts chaps
  24. I hear what you say, however......If you have removed a tree etc and left the place clean and tidy with no broken fences or greenhouses then its an advertisement for your proffesionalism. Its even better if its a neat tidy conni topping job and its there to be seen though so im also with you on that one..
