  1. You may need a registry mechanic program. Do you have a torrent downloader like bitlord?. If you do btjunkie.com have some great free downloads. Even though your laptop is only 4 months old if you scanned it with a registry mechanic you would easily find over 100 problems/faults in your comps registry. I scan mine every other day and find over 10 each time. Hope this helps.
  2. Navara every time. Mitsubishis seem under powered. The d40 hits peak torque at 2000rpm and tows great. Fit a drakebox from ebay for £90 and you get a reliable 205bhp and 460nm of torque. Mine goes like stink lol.
  3. Just read some earlier posts after writing my reply and it seems husky are admitting now. My repeir came from my own pocket DOH!
  4. The 357 xp and xpg had a carb fault husky wont admit to. Mine was exactly the same ,as was a mates who bought his at the same time. We both got new carbs fitted at our own expense and they now run perfect.they were 2005 saws by the way.
  5. K H hire moss side ind est at leyland. Great rates and everything you need 01772452112. Best ive used by far.
  6. I will give arbinsure a call and thanks for the pointer.
  7. Sorry, as i said im new to running a business so i wasn't the best at asking the question. In future i think i may PM people to gain knowledge in areas im unsure of. As for others...hmmm well.
  8. Then it cant be done legally. So it wont be done. THE END. FFS
  9. Am i an employer if i sub contract the work or are the workers self employed?
  10. Thankyou Mesterh, you came in with a direct answer and seem non judgmental. I only wish tonights thread was a PM to you instead of all this.
  11. We could have ended this hours ago with that answer . Arborists, Honestly......
  12. Exactly £150pw would not work for me as i earn £2000 pa if im lucky doing small tree jobs. It was claimed in an earkier thread £500pa. We would all have some of that wouldnt we :-)
  13. Im not looking for sympathy, I asked the question to gain knowledge of the legal footing i am on. My running costs are no cheaper except for insurance??????. And if i am legally required to have it to sub contract i wont do it. You seem to be answering questions i never asked. I wanted input and got bitterness for some reason.
  14. Thanks for withdrawing the up myself comment i never intended for aty conflict with my message but feel like i made a few enemies tonight without meaning to. Maybe being honest is not the best policy on here sometimes. Lying would have made my life easier but thats not me. Guys once again if i have offended but im struggling to see why. Whan you mentioned guys struggling to pay bills that is what my initial thread was about, Helping mates on hard times. Who could honestley say they would'nt do it. I just wanted to know if it was legal or not but its totally lost in translation now i think. Sorry once again guys, What i thought was a bit of banter seems to have escalated to a level i dont like to get involved in. Apologies.
  15. Guys i spent a lot of money on gear ,car, chipper etc... . And i know you all did once but i have to make a start somewhere and one thread allready states they had no insurance when they first started. Im not working to make ends meet i just have ambition and if i could get insurance for less than £10 a week my job quotes would be very similar to what they are now taking working costs into account. I have given many jobs up and told the customer they have had a great quote( From reputable companies and work i could have easily done) as i felt i could not better the price. Whats so wrong with what i do?
  16. The uninsured driver was working to make ends meet from what i can gather. He visited my house (bit unnerving to begin with) and expressed a regret that i believed and appologised many times. Who am i to judge why he did what he did. He broke the law knowingly. I wont.
  17. Jeez im beggining to wish i never posted. What im saying is if i am breaking thew law it will NOT be done. I am a straight guy. I wont endanger people the wrong side of the law. Has a firefighter upset people on here before, gee whizz.
  18. <<would also happily pay £500 per year but was told above 30ft climbing this was £1550 at least despite reading many posts and calling insurance providers listed on this site.:-(
  19. Whoa Whoa Whoa i feel im being ganged up on here. Im just trying to get a foot on the ladder so to speak and it seems that the "up myself" comment means i have innadvertedley offended you in some way. Many appologies if if you have read into something i have written the wrong way as i can assure you i meant no offence. My wifes car was written off by an uninsured driver 4 years ago, a taxi driver who was trying to make ends meet. There is allways more to a story than surface appearance. Apologies once again.
  20. You know when you wish you had never asked..... . Seems once you are not full time in the business anymore the honour is gone. :-P . Just get on with it then is exactly what i will do, thanks for the advice and i look forward to reading any future posts from you guys. Your array of knowledge is water to my sponge!
  21. I have a high maintenece wife by the way ha ha
  22. I got my NPTC's fair and square so stacking shelves isnt an option. You cant say in all fairness if the fire service sub contracted and you had the quals to do it that you wouldn't could you....
  23. The guys i am looking to give the work to are lads who are out of work due to gordon browns mistakes. They are good safe lads with many years of experience under their belts who will graft to gain future work. Also all correct PPE is worn and work not rushed for any extra incentive. Im now a firefighter so know too well about mistakes and safety in the workplace. Its woodland work they would be tidying and it would have to be a major f##k up for anything to go wrong really. Im not ignorant to the fact that things can and do, However risk assessment would throw this as low every time.
