1. It always amazes me how long people leave it before changing the blades !! The simplest of things and cheap as chips to get sharpened and especially the 150 blades , I always found on my old entec they don't take much abuse.... I'd always change them even if they weren't blunt.....
2. Yeh that's the one I got , but over kill for my needs !
3. Just seen the link. Cheers I ordered bought the larger one as it was in stock locally they don't do the 1/2 inch ..... But That's the one I need Cheers
4. Is it the 1/2 inch one ?
5. Sweet , cheers for that , can believe how massive the teng tool one was when it arrived ! Came in a box about 6ft long !lol
6. So which torque wrenches do you guys use ? I need another one as just had one nicked , had it years don't know what make it was , I need it to do the bolts blades on a Jensen a530 , so up to 310 nm , I went and bought a teng tool one but its massive and won't fit in to do the inside bolt , I've got another but only goes up to 300 nm ? .....
7. Was it really 6 years ago !! jeez .. The course is as good as the people on it ! I think we were lucky with our group Ross , the other half were a bunch of spanners !
8. Cracking vid ! Top job .. Really clear and well explained .. Keep up the good work
9. So it's about time for new springs and shocks all round , thinking of terrafirma ? Anyone else have these ? It's going on a hi cap so shall I stick with standard height or plus 2 ? Don't really wana get into having change radius arms etc etc
10. Il never forget felling the top out of huge beach along side a real busy country road , had traffic lights out and we stopped both ways , we had a winch tractor pulling the top over and i signaled to the guy on ground that there was huge dead limb that will probaly pop off over the road as soon as tractor starts to pull , , at that point a car thought sod it im not waiting ran the red light and as i thought the limb broke out luckly the groundsma spotted him and threw a ladder across the road. , had he not done that the car would be splat !! My heart was in my mouth felt like everything went in slow motion ,,, the best bit about it was there was an unmarked cop car 3 cars back from him , needless to say he got a right rollicking !!! From everyone , lucky lucky guy indeed
11. How much is he asking ?? I reckon 5 1/2 k tops , there's better machines out there
12. Just to add !! I learnt a hell of a lot more French and German going on holiday rather than being stuck in some boring classroom with a bunch of kids who didn't give a crap what some boring teacher was scribbling on a black board !
13. This is one subject that really gets me annoyed! My perants took me out of school twice a year every year for skiing holiday and a summer holiday. My sister now runs a successful business and I'd like to think I do too , I personally can't see how taking your kids out of school for 1 week of the year is Gona make a difference other than a beneficial one. ! my 9 nine year old daughter came home from school the other day and couldn't complete her homework due to her book going missing , turns out another teacher had picked it up by mistake. When she asked her teacher if she still needs to complete it the teacher said " no don't worry " I rang the school and had a meeting with the teacher in hand and asked if I should fine her for taking her book as she's missing out on important education ! Other than an apology it all went quite ! The systems a joke I've paid the fine in past and got on with it I'm certainly not being dictated as to when I can and can't have quality time with my family ,
14. In all honesty I don't think there's much between them , the 150 has a bigger engine and poxy little blades the Jensen has smaller engine and better flywheel and bigger blades , , as said I think the 150 tows nicer that 518 needs a handbrake ,
15. One thing to add , is that before I got rid of it I noticed it was slightly leaking coolent from one of the core plugs on the engine , nothing major it's just s cap that needs replacing as they rust through
16. That's great news mate , really pleased it got sorted for you.
17. That's not mine , that one has a handbrake , mine looked brand new as had been refurbished , is the guy's name Adam ?? One thing I did find is that parts will be getting harder to source for it and probably expensive , having said that if it runs and chips it is a good chipper so don't be put off ,
18. I had one , good chipper , kept up with a 150 unfortunately it threw a set of blades and buggered it right up. .i sold it for spares or repair to guy in Durham , it's not that one is it ? Think mine was 2001 does it have a handbreak ? I don't think they tow as nice as the 150 , bounced around a made a noise ,

Lamb

If your slow cooking it you can leave it in the oven all day it will fal to bits when you take it out , I often buy brisket of beef and chuck it in the oven at 10 am on 120 and slow cook till 3 or 4 in afternoon , . Tagine use either neck fillet of cut the meat of a shoulder or leg but remember to trim the fat off ,

Lamb

Have a google of lamb tagine , one of my favorites ! First be a good recipe though , loads of nice ingredients . Or a slow roasted lamb shoulder.
21.
Hi mate , noticed you may be selling a chipper ? What you got , ?

22. I bought one six months ago , love it. Having said that I've had a tree Austria for 5 years that I couldn't fault. Feels great once you've set it up right but would I say it's worth the extra money over other harnesses ???? Probly not,, if your one of those guys that like shiny bits then get it , I only got it cos I thought I'd try something different , once your stuck up a snotty macrocarpa getting poked in the eye you forget what's round your waste anyway !
23. Truly horrific shane , my otherhalfs best mate was the first copper on the scene he was parked up down the road after pulling someone over , said it was the worst scene hes ever been to in nearly 20 years ,
24. That has gota be one of funniest and worst pricing ideas ive ever read !
