  2. its funny ive just changed from having a tree austria 1 which i loved and then had a 3.1 which was also good but just got a tree motion and ive gota say its way comfy around the back and hips really pleased with it , spent most of today on spikes and had no problems , what is it about the tree motion you dont like ?
  3. Really sorry mate , hope you manage to get sorted ,
  4. The bottom of the other stem we felled has some in the first few feet , if this is felled then I shall be getting it out in larger bits if the weather is kind and the field stays dry ,
  5. so form what I've googled and the fungi directory says Kreztchmaria looks like the most Likley ? Any body else with any thoughts ?
  6. Unfortunatly because the school field was still pretty soft i pronised the school I would make ruts across the football pitch so ive managed to get 1 large lump about 5ft that 3 of us man handle on to back of my landy but the rest of the stem is ringed and the limbs are in about 3ft to 4ft peices , if the next tree has to go then hooefully the ground will be firmer il get it out in larger bits
  7. Il try adding a better picture , doing this from my I phone and it's only letting me add one at a time.
  8. Got called to this field maple yesterday at a local school that decided it didn't get on with it's other half and took a lean over 2 neighbouring property's , we felled the tree today and was amazed how much it had leaned from it's original position , sound wood until the last few feet then there is a fairly deep hole in the ground. The school are now worried that the second stem is gona go the same way and want to remove it Which I sort I feel the same , but though id give it a chance to live if it's worth it , best pictures I could get so if you have any thoughts on the fungi on base that would be very helpful Many thanks

  15. ok that's good to know , like I say I don't NOT trust the guy I got it from far from it hes been very helpful just wanted to hear others experiences :001_smile:chip size is good , the only issue I have is that the new blades seem to run to close to the anvil just enough that they rub on it but only ever so slightly which leads me to believe its been set up a bit to close on a part used set of blades , bit annoying as the machine is faultless otherwise
  16. Any body else ?
  17. no ive gota say im not sure either but I was told by the dealer (who I trust and have no issues with as there very helpful ) was something to do with the way the wheel warps at high speed ? just wanted to have peace of mind really
  18. hey , should the inside edge of the blade (centre of flywheel) sit closer the the anvil than the outside edge ? theres a hairs width if that on the inside and about 4 mm on the outside is this normal for jensens ?
  19. Yeh that is ridiculas , no different to us over charging in rich areas !
  20. For a £1000 big ones is expect the secretary to have her pants down !
  21. Mate il tell you their out there ! Charging to register self emoloyed is ridiculas , defo worth shopping around !
  22. I'd ask around first that seems a lot of money still even though it's still tax deductable .definatly worth having an accountant but don't get screwed over . Your only a one man band sole trader it's pretty simples to do yourself but an accountant can fine tune it and save you in the long run but I'd Definatly want to know what I'm getting for a grand !
  23. yeh same here around 300 , since when did it cost to register self employed ?? i dont ever remeber doing that ?
