  7. A very understated tool , you can run one from thd tractor the same time as the splitter , I can go through well over 5 litres in a day plus 2 stroke that's over 50 pounds a week in a petrol chainsaw , there also used from a mewp basket for small cuts if you have a supply to the basket like I used to
  8. My partner ( business ) was off to price a job Thursday during heigh winds and was first on the scene to a large oak limb blocking the road , lucky he had a bow saw behind the seat

  10. Indeed , some days I will do 2 trimming jobs , 2/3 small reductions a stump and will just take the iveco 3.5 t and not even fill it
  11. I'm never negative on this forum but how can you choose a favourite ??? I have had them all and there all great in the own way , a 3.5 tin tipper will fit in small driveways cheap to by and run and mot is once a year. A 5.5 ton tipper needs a pre 97 driver and taco , and well a mog is great one very big grey area as far as the law I mean !!! And folk hate one parked on there drive as they compress the ground , or and there megga bucks to by and run but great for tree work as a general rule of thumb
  12. 'twas full of cider then ,
  13. Hey Marty , I have not tried the troll boots but Every pair of hiax Mendel and so forth have failed , I live in mine and wear them all day every day
  14. I just don't know how some of you lads make a pair of boots last years ?? The soles on every boot I have Eva had have gone treadles in 12 months regardless of make and I have tried most , do you wear cheaper boots to drag brash and other non chainsaw related work ??
  15. Not to sound like a party pooper or some one who is slating what's been made as it looks great and well made but it must be slow ?
  16. It was one heck of a job , it's done me in cant face the sight of my tree motion tomorrow
  17. took this monster down today in a tiny little garden , access was terrible , 5 loads of chip , 7 of heavy
  18. I have one , I will only use it in the dry as it cost so much , but it is the muts nuts , as good as a lanyard gets IMO
