  1. Good Friday job Paul, biccies, tea, coffee...what more could a professional arborist want?
  2. Have you checked your undercrackers for the key yet? #sickasfuck
  3. I would pass a 2 way hook no problem, however I would advise the end user that 3 way is considered best practice in the current acop, and should consider moving onto a 3 way mechanism.
  4. If you don't mind travelling contact Richard Allmand at treepartner, excellent training, and a really nice guy too.
  5. 1986 landy, you'll be needing permanent cover mate.
  6. I agree that the cinch works, and works well for many people, and I also agree that innovative ideas have come into our world from many different spheres. However I feel that we have now innovated our own solutions for lanyard adjustment within the industry. , and perhaps it is time to move onto something that is tested for our industry.
  7. Cinch is designed for ropes conforming to EN 892, climbing & mountaineering rope basically. You are pairing it with an incompatible rope, something to bear in mind when bringing mountaineering gear into the arb world.
  8. Glad you enjoyed your week. The first of many more to come!
  9. It was great to ( briefly ) meet you today Paul, really looking forward to working with you. See you Monday!
  10. Seen some frisky looking black birds this week too
  11. Stihl hiflex - 9 months to a year. Meindl Airstreams - 18 months to 2 years. I'm happy with that, given they get heavy use. Incidentally manufacturers guidelines for hi flex lifespan is 6 months if used/abused daily.
  12. I recently bought an ART positioner for my lanyard, I strop in every time now to get my moneys worth.
  13. Thanks for the replies fellas, much appreciated.
  14. Does anyone deliver seasoned hardwood in the Bedale area?
  15. Climbing all day in Scarborough. Drenched is not the word. 2 hour drive back to the yard with blowers on full blast, should be just about dry by the time I get home. Love it.
  16. You can put a pan on a jetboil no problems. The best thing about them is that you can boil up a brew Sat in the van if it's pi55ing it down.
