  1. Looks like it's Peltor fittings only from what I can see
  2. Seems strange asking to buy logs as I sell firewood myself, but I'm off camping next week and won't have room for a weeks worth of logs in the truck with all my gear, dog, Mrs etc!!! I've got a small stove in my tent and need some decent hardwood logs, but they need to be 6 inches max. Nets, loose, or barrow bag would be fine.
  3. My current lid is a petzl, but with the wheel at the back, can't get away with the new one with side wheels, and I don't like helmets with foam inserts, especially in the winter, not that I'm fussy at all....
  4. Unfortunately the boss man won't spring for a protos, otherwise I would have gone for one I reckon.
  5. Time for a new lid, has anyone got or had one of these?
  6. Love it when a plan comes together. Teamwork is key in this industry.
  7. Got the ess advancer v12 and still prefer the safe eyes, although you do look cooler in the ess, and ultimately that's what it's all about.
  8. That probably didn't work, but you get my drift. They are pretty good. Long lasting. Bit dark in winter.
  9. Had some problems with our 2, but can't fault the after sales service. Most of the niggles seem to have been sorted. Our greenmech has become 3rd choice behind these two unless we need the vari track. I really like the forward/reverse buttons.

  14. Off on a visit to Kew tomorrow for the first time. What are peoples "must see" trees / pubs down there?
  15. Where was that first pic taken? Sent from my HTC One using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. I used poison ivy with the zz2 for a couple of weeks, and although it is a lovely rope in the hand, it didn't work very well for me, great with a hitch though. Sent from my HTC One using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. We felled around 50 or so mature trees in the same location for the same council a couple of years ago, we had a cos on site and either winched or dismantled all the trees within falling distance of the line, needless to say nothing landed anywhere near the lines. Not sure why we didn't get this job (just a humble employee), perhaps getting a contractor in who can do it properly was just too expensive. Not in the long run it seems. 18. Can't fault mine. Never wanted to hand back my zz1. Nice tree Mr git, have you tried installing your pulley saver from the ground? Sent from my HTC One using Arbtalk mobile app

  21. Engine de greaser works well, work it in, leave for 5 minutes, blast out with airline, repeat if necessary, then a bit of Teflon spray and a wipe down to finish. Not that I'm anal or anything. Sent from my HTC One using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Towa activegrip are good, last longer than the pfanner, but can get a bit sweaty. Sent from my HTC One using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. That would be sweet. Learned a lot from your posts already, but always good to get some face to face advice. Sent from my HTC One using Arbtalk mobile app
