  1. Great control on some decent sized bits.
  2. Nice. Need to get my hands on some x-rings.
  3. How's the site Paul? This tree report is extremely tiring I must say!
  4. Great pics Paul, didn't notice you taking half of these. Sam is the man alright, but great teamwork from all involved today made light work of a tricky tree in sweltering heat. Let's do it all again tomorrow!
  5. I want these because of the name.
  6. Rope bag. Silver bull for me. Bombproof.
  7. Of course, but this is a new machine. I'm just giving my experience. I've been lucky enough to use alot of different chippers, and so far, my experiences of this chipper haven't been as good as others. I'm not badmouthing greenmech for the sake of it, but as an end user feeding the hopper, it is a slow and frustrating machine to use.
  8. Used the greenmech again yesterday, it overheated and cut out after less than half an hour.
  9. Really have to say how impressed I am with the power of arbtalk, and the collective spirit of forum members. The part from Farmer Rod was waiting for me when I got home today! And all he asked was I donate to a really worthy cause, medicine sans frontier, which myself, and the lad I'm fixing the saw for have done. 👍
  10. Thanks Dan. Farmer rod is sorting me out with the part. Wish I'd thought of asking on here ages ago, I've been hunting high and low.
  11. That's the one yes. Been hunting high and low, knew arbtalkers could come up with the goods.
  12. The tr6 pulls in better, quicker, blows chip further, and snaps crotches better, you can just feed and forget as long as you don't take the p!ss, whereas with the 190 you were constantly having to reverse, refeed and sned out. The 190 was a new machine with fresh blades. I've done over 200 hrs on the tr6 and would chose this over the 190 all day long. Yes Forst have had their issues, but they seemed to have sorted things now on ours, and their customer service is second d to none.
  13. I'm fixing a saw for a mate, and I'm trying to track down this part that is no longer available STIHL 028 CHAINSAW OIL PUMP DUST COVER TYPE 2- PN 1118 021 1104 Can anyone help?
  14. Chipped with one on Friday, oak, willow and thorn. It had nothing on our tr6. Some good features and seemed decent build quality though.
  15. Hi-visibilty red conforms to new ISO20471 2012 standard 😎. Ive had many waterproof jackets over the years, and this is great so far, some really well thought out features. Time will tell.
  16. Look what I've just picked up Paul. Better start your naked raindancing
  17. Man up man woman man..I had to go pricing today because you were "ill".
