  3. hi your based in the same area as me, just remember your trying to make a living so when pricing don't go shooting yourself in the foot, theres loads of competition about and some of them are stupidly cheep but offering sub standard work. most of the work you will get will be recommendations so go out your way to keep your customers happy. and as said before try not to get to many overheads also how much do you sub yourself out for as a climber? many thanks simon
  4. if its anything like the one i use try putting all the leavers pointing forward and push release leaver forward. i normally have to put front end on the ground and then push down. but dont know if its a jet winch or some other make
  5. I've got a 125 and I'm forever getting the blades sharpened as if there slightly dull it will struggle. Also blocks up loads easer than The 150s and drinks fuel compaird the the diesel ones. but it got me started and I would still recomend 1 to anyone starting up or on a budget.
  6. i use 123-reg aswell:001_smile:
  7. I brought a cheep 1 of eBay. It only cost £35 and only use if the chains are well batterd as there a lot sharper if u do it by hand. But it only takes 5 mins to sharped a 25" chain which has totally lost it's edge. But I wouldn't use it if it was just dull due to amount cutter that is growing off.
  8.
  9. one of my mate brought as ms170 and as long as you keep it sharp there fine for sending up etc but will struggle for any logging up unless its softwood.
