  1. Really? Didnt see you about, probs wouldnt recognise you anyway lol. haha he is a funny man. Yeah mate sounds good:thumbup: Its a one day a week deal isnt it?
  2. Nice one mate:thumbup1: Is that going to be with Mike Allen/Dave Gillet I take it? As for further quals I dont think there is one between level 3(FD, RFS, NVQ3) and Foundation degree, not locally anyway. But I may be mistaken. Good luck with the rfs mate!
  3. Ditto whats been said already, Dont bother with little things honeys sell, Beal stop or something. Got one through with something a while ago, broke before it was even put on the biner. I just get some rubber piping from a local hardware store, does the trick
  4. I think the sugoi is bang on for removals because you can just go mental with it, Natanoko is the one for pruning though. Zubat is good, Ive got one, nice for pruning but crap when it comes to putting in gobs n the like as it doesnt cut in a straight line obviously. They are all good though
  5. Is that at Barcham trees? Went there with the college the other day, massive place!
  6. Ah right cool, well I did a First Diploma in 2008 and started my ND in the September just gone. Guessing you had Carl and Neil as your tutors?

  7. Alright mate, did you go to Easton?

  8. Brilliant vids mate. You put the info across in a very understandable way. Great job
  9. Cheers mate, looks like im joining the Meindl possy.
  10. Haha. Just translated it and it reads "A rebuilt and upgraded wheels with air 240 l waste bin is an essential component of tree care equipment. If it stands, it's even rainproof. Only she can not fly. "
  11. Really want a pair of these, hopefully getting them next week free of charge (Thankyou Easton College) Im usually a 10 in my trainers and such, so what do you current users think i should go for size wise? Ive heard they come out a bit big. cheers!
  12. Ditto what he said. I used to use the machine when it got proper minging. But now if it really needs a wash, I just fill the bath about 6" deep with luke warm water, and milk the rope from one end to the next a few times, no need for washing detergent or anything, you will be suprised how dirty the water is when you are done! Then just leave it to dry properly, dont skimp out on this bit, make sure its bone dry before it goes back in the bag cos it will absolutely reek if not. hope this helps
  13. No worries bud, hope you have fun with it! You go to Otley I take it then?

  14. Dont know you, but i thought I would give you a shout as I noticed your after one. someone is selling a ropeguide in the classifieds for £120. get in there quick boyo!

  15. Quality vids mate !
  16. Dont worry, we melted it down with shandy bass after:001_tongue: I think one of my mates did take a pic, will go on the hunt!
  17. We have had about 4-5 inches here, bored of it now, its also the sugary poofter snow. Did make a ca-racking snow penis on the roof my mates car though.
  18. No worries, only sitting gathering dust at the mo, obviously i would have posted lol! Good luck with it bud!
  19. looks like a bachman knot, mountaineering. they use it as is easy to untie when the ropes get icey I think.
  20. Hmm, well its good if you arent very busy, but I think the book is much better. Reading the words yourself penetrates alot harder than listening to a droning isa robotron. Bit like being at school if you get me? I wouldnt say its essential, but good if you have a headache or something, and for me , reading makes my head worse when i have a headache. All good stuff though:thumbup1:
  21. Hmmm. *Grabs magnifying glass and silly hat* ALEX.
