    i like it too......obviously the quality isnt the best but then it fits the subject matter.
  8. good post david......there are traces of human interaction in all our woods.....some more subtle than others. A few more from burnham.
  9. random nutter indeed.......... there were plenty of missed oppurtunities for a fine shot but had to leave it due to the scratches on the lens believe me.
  10. Went to Burnham Beeches today.......long time coming as have wanted to go for ages. Took the opppurtunity to hook up with MonkeyD and his team who were there pollarding old beeches.....couple of photos of the rough terrain mewp......anyway the sound of chainsaws on my day off weas proving to much so went off on wanderings.....heres a selection that is but a teeny bit of Burnham Beeches. A very special site.

  15. couple more off the vets work list........1st job to prune back canopy of competing trees and 15 - 20% selective end weight reduction. 2nd job.....to remove the end weight of 1 limb......as can be seen a fine vet in danger of splitting in half. 3rd vet......15 to 20% selective end weight reduction on mid and lower crown.

  18. you're spot on David......start work approx 9.am.......but get to the park around 8 ish to have breakfast in surroundings such as this.......got to be better than tesco carpark or the greasy spoon.........todays brekkie......chorizo and fried egg in a ciabatta roll.
  19. What a start to the day today......sat eating breakfat watching the sun come up at work......its days like this that i feel blessed in many ways.......i'll make the most of it as it will be lashing down again soon. feel free to add your own morning shots.
