Aye....The Tree Company.....That'll be it. Yea you right Richmond park is a fantastic place for veteran trees. I think it has 1500 vets there or there abouts. Been doing lots of safety work last month or so. 1 week or so left then back gardens for the summer I reckon.

I wear Haix Blue ridge.....Very comfortable even in the first few days and very waterproof. Most people i know who wear them at work speak highly of them.

Really?? Thats interesting to know. Am only just getting into fungus i.d. I id'd it as Flamulina and then showed it to a Royal Parks Tree officer and he confirmed it. mmmm What do others think??

I work there throughout the winter as the company I work for has the contract. My duties include veteran tree management (tip pruning, reductions, retrenchment pruning etc.) Felling (monoliths as standing deadwood) General safety work. Willow pollarding etc etc. Somedays I feel truly blessed to be in such an amazing place, climbing fantastic ancient oaks. Cant be bad......but then I'll turn up at the yard and be sent to Kensington High St, reducing plane trees back to previous.......straight back down to earth!!
