Falls under Ealing Council.......very small patch of wood with bridleway leading to open fields and cricket club consisting of old coppice stools......lots of young oaks and 4 or 5 tall mature oaks. Mad little place really. will post a few more pics up. I love these little patches dotted all over london.
  2. A fantastic example of a Hazard Beam and a nice fracture on oak.
  3. a few from Burnham beeches.......standing deadwood as well as its importance as habitat can also be very aesthetically pleasing to eye.

  5. heres a couple....looking towards kingston though.......yea theres a couple of classic views in the morning where the city looks like a still from blade runner.....or something from the future anyway. i'll be back with more:001_smile:

  7. i bought a camera from the states a few years ago......when it was delivered there was a bill for an extra 50 odd quid to cover customs fees.

  15. hey tony......good to have you back.....yes richmond......."its pheifferi.....no its phellinus.......well if this one is phellinus......then that one has to be phellinus.....which means that one is pheifferi. Have your disc here.....got to pop in the post.
  16. I find with these ones that a nice long, diagonal top cut works well......nice big angles rip and then just mash the end up a bit with the saw for visual purposes....works a treat:thumbup1:

  20. aaaah david.....you showing off your pet lucidums again? Larry and lisa arent they?......some people would say its cruel to keep such things in a cage. Although it would be a little difficult to release them back into the wild now though.
