  1. Had a couple of hours spare whilst a colleague deadwooded the oak in pic 1.......took a little stroll around and took some snaps.

  6. Worn my new sequoia 3 times now and today noticed that the stiching has started to come undone around the leg loop attachments as pictured. Needless to say its going back......i'm sure this is a one off. Very impressed with the comfort and workability and will exchanging for a new one......anybody had any stiching probs with these harnesses?

Thinking about getting a pair of these for general messing about in the woods, walking etc.......supposed to be very comfortable and waterproof and warm.....anybody own/owned a pair and give me feedback. These are the La Crosse Silencer HD boots. cheers. Or any other reccommendations for around £150.?

  12. seems there are plenty of oppurtunities to go experience different cultures and ways of working at the mo. On Arb jobs there are vacancies for work in.....Alaska, New York, Norway, Sweden Oz and NZ...........If iwas wifeless, kidless its something I would jump at.......imagine working in Alaska??? Must be fantastic though very hard at times i'm sure........are you boys with no ties.........get to it!!

  15. Well if it is resi which i'm pretty certain i'm giving myself a pat on the back and keeping on the fungi road!
  16. Yea was spngey and so i went to another part of park to compare with some resi on red oak.......That was my thought........is it common/uncommon on ash though?

Ok here we go.....just when i think i'm making inroads into this fungi malarkey i get stumped once again.......So found this on an ash today.......know its probably obvious but not to me:blushing:......not hispidus which is common on ash......not perrenipora........not confragosa.......only thing I can point a finger at is resinaceum......but have never seen it on ash:confused1: am i right or am i going to call a halt to my short and frustrating fungi days?
