  1. Ok. Still 2 available. If nobody comes forth then Midge can have all 4.
  2. I'm waiting for him to get back to me. I think 2 each is fair. PM me address and I'll post you two.
  3. There yours. PM me your address and I'll post them to you.
  4. I've just bought a new axe and I have received 4 tickets to the Great British Landrover show which is being held in Stoneleigh, Near Coventry. I will not be using them so if anybody wants them then let me know. First come first served. The Great British Land Rover Show
  5. Great stuff again mate. Think I will be getting said book.
  6. I like this thread. Great Woodpecker shots. Here's a woodpecker hole now colonised by bees with what appears to be Ganoderma.
  7. I was wondering about something like this perhaps? DMT DiaFold Diamond Sharpener | Woodsmith Experience | Woodsmith Experience. For specialist, handmade, woodworking tools.
  8. Thanks for that. I was thinking more manual though. Stones, diamond etc.
  9. So I have just treated myself to a Gransfor Carving Axe....woop woop. What in people's opinion would be the best sharpening device for it? Cheers in advance. Oh I've also treated myself to a Froe, a Turbo Plane, an Adze and a Ben Orford Hybrid crook knife. Happy Days
  10. Out of interest what method did you use for tapping?
  11. I just always have a camera with me so wherever i go I can take photos. I generally use a Canon G10 although i have late format landscape cameras and a DSLR. The majority of the shots on this thread are on the G10. Can be used fully manual or Auto. Its a great camera and i used to have it in my pocket when climbing to photograph whatever interested me in the crown. David Humphries used the Canon G series as well. You can pick up a G10 for peanuts second hand and they take a bashing really well too.
  12. Yep that's what the thread is about. There are some absolute corkers in this thread.
  13. I've got lots of ifs on the go too 😄 If and when you do let me know and I'll send you a selection to choose from and if you pick one you like I will do you one for cost price.
  14. Was this noticed whilst in the tree removing other ones David? Its a shame that it has to be removed ( although an absolute necessity I'm sure) as it would be interesting to monitor the rate of decay.
  15. They blow up and kill fellow Muslims everyday too. They're just totally screwed up.
  16. A great, interesting thread. cheers.
  17. There won't be any trees left to climb in Sheffield if things do not change with the Amey contract.

    Tree Neglect

These are all great thank you.
  19. Id say get in touch with local firewood suppliers or/woodscraftsmen.
  20. What software did you use for that?
