  1. Sorry, sorted the threads bit. The other usernames I can see was the last posts on that thread. I've just got the photo issue if you can help with that. Cheers
  2. Cheers Steve. I got that far but it seems to be intermingled with other people's post too? On the web site forum I could put a members name in and see all of their threads in date order. Is this not the case now? Also I am uploading photo's from the app using 'best' but they are appearing small on the thread. Am I doing something wron? Sorry to be a pain.
  3. An Oak tree in the car park of Lords Wood. Beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. This woodland was obviously somewhere special for a guy recently passed away as these notes from his child and nephew/niece testify. It is connections like this to woodlands that highlight the importance of each and every woodland in the country and emphasises the need to protecT them all. Not a single one can be lost. 4. On the new arb talk app how does one search for all threads by one person. I can't seem to be able to do it. Might be thick, might not.

  6. Great to see that a tree such as this has not been subject to over zealous and knee jerk reactions considering its location. Good stuff,
  7. Probably one of my favourite decay finds.
  8. Really interesting post David, thanks. Have you encountered Cuticularis on Ok much on the Heath?

  14. This just appeared on my news feed. Hoping it can find its owner.
  15. Hi mate. Thanks for asking, much appreciated. Yep adjusting slowly. Everyday a mission. Will do an update on my accident thread soon. There's a couple of recent updates lately if you missed them. Cheers
  16. This was such a fascinating programme. Looking at the pioneering work of wildlife filmmaker Percy Smith and a modern day mission to recreate his film 'The Acrobatic Fly'. Great tv. BBC iPlayer - Edwardian Insects on Film
  17. An interesting piece on solving Clandon Parks mysteries through dendrochronology Solving Clandon Park?s mysteries with tree rings | National Trust

Jamie, I am so grateful that you spoke with them. They have been nothing short of amazing. There is an article about how they have helped myself and my family in the current issue of the Arb Journal. Cheers dude.

    My accident

So whats been happening?Im going to do a piece looking back on the time since my discharge but for now heres just a brief outline. Well i am back driving now at last which is a good thing as I'm not sure how much longer my Mrs would have put up with me dictating to her from the passenger seat. Im pretty sure she was on the verge of doing something she may or may not have regretted. Bloody weird driving and not being able to use my feet however and a couple of occasions has seen me going to put my foot on the brake as a reaction only to find nothing happening and frantically trying to remember where the new brake is. Driving around Bristol i have had to endure verbal abuse from dawdling old grannies as as i out dawdle them. "You need to learn how to drive mate" and P***K" are just two of the verbals aimed my way. I guess i have finally picked the hand controls up hough as i got a bloody speeding fine the other day! Welcome back Sean. Anyway this weekend I am going up to the Lake District with a Spinal Injury charity. Im driving up on my own from Bristol like the big boy i am. Whilst up there i will be doing Kayaking, Sailing, Abseiling and various other things. Most people on the course are a few years down the line whereas my injury is relatively new but I just want to get on with stuff so I'm going. Im feeling strong and confident and am keen to test myself but also be around people who can inspire me and show me what is achievable. It will be great to get back in a harness and do some climbing. I have people who want to get me back up a tree in the summer so the abseiling part of the course will stand me in good stead. Ill let you know how the week goes and I'm sure there will be photos. Trying to get out and about as much as i can on my off road wheelchair. It really has been a blessing for me. Its a bloody hard work out and gets me places where a normal chair wouldn't get. Always trying to stay positive on what i am able to do rather than what i cannot but i am finding all the styles etc frustrating to say the least. Anyway here's some photos.
  24. Do you have comparable resistigraph readings from it David or is it not one of yours?
