  2. I thought that was a malicious rumour! are you getting work for it?
  3. Paint, a heated garage and a loving home!and I’d run it on aspen
  4. Looks like a cut and dry case of skidsteer abuse, drop it around mine I will look after it properly

  6. I found it more cost effective to replace the engine than rebuild also much quicker, found new old stock engine for just under 5k

  12. whats your avant shear like some of there attachments are not as good as the price leads you to believe they should be
  13. But we don’t do repeated cycles no one spends all day loading as like quarry or yard, I have both on a bit of rough ground standing is infinitely more comfortable. And standing for me is far more productive especially when I’m paying wages
  14. Ok I will take a guess £7000 plus vat worm drive has got to be 2500
  15. And sitting down can be the problem drivers tend to get a sticky bum and stay in the seat when they should get out and clear or load by hand, also working in the rain or snow is far more comfortable standing up, the view of the tool is much better and they turn in there own length, with no loss of lift capacity on turning for small areas stand on skidsteer is the way to go, as for wheels or tracks
  16. I ve seen avants rolled when cutting and collecting with a shear you have very narrow wheelbase and not a lot of weight, might think about ballast in wheels and full set of rear weights. Shears are much more suited to 360 diggers
  17. Go down the fit for purpose route with trading standards won’t cost anything professional charger should last longer had same problem with makita chargers failing just out of warranty got both replaced
  18. Another loader! Can you get the avant multione buckets to fit?
  19. The creosote is the least of your problems, most sleepers have been exposed to all sorts of weed killers at many different concentrations, got some a while back tested turned out to be hazardous waste, they advised that if cutting was required white suit and full face respirator should be used
  20. You need to learn to delegate I have back problems as well the hardest part of recovery was standing back and letting someone else do the work or waiting for the machine to turn up, the days of get out of the way I will show you how to do it quickly are over and the sooner you realise the quicker your recovery will be
  21. Had a double,it is NOT big, clever, manly, desirable, done thing to leave it to develop, get better on its own, see doctor tommorow etc, caused me problems get it sorted sooner rather than later
  22. You wouldn’t want a cheap one just think of the stress and loads
