  6. Cool! Yes the RIG pulley is great. I have an old bit of 5/8ths rigging rope, 1 metre, with a fishermans and a steel crab with the RIG on the end. It does alot of work, and is nice and light.

  17. Where are there tall enough trees left in the UK?
  18. Hi mate from Long island. Been quietly following your past bit of life, and I can say you are a soldier. Man its an eye opener, and I think about you alot while Im working and climbing. Tomorrow I am taking down a tall beech tree, which has been dropping limbs, and will be extra diligent with the tree. Chin up man! And maybe onbe day Ill buy you a whisky and we can drink together. Ben
  19. Why is this still being discussed??? LOL
  20. Both! But well beefy and will be used as a main rigging point. Always use both rings. Adds a little friction in the tree too. Yale 3/4 sling. Thimbles rated at 25000 lbs.
  21. I just got sent this to try out from Treestuff. Its excellent !
  22. All the time, and I rig some big stuff. Never broken one yet. Attach with a fishermans so the crab is locked in position, bowline not the best attachment. Always make sure the gate is facing out/away from the wood too.
  23. Sunny and warm at last here on Long Island. Beach weather!
