  1. Looks like a great solution Reg. I'd like to see an operator lifting a near max load/log with it, to see how easy/efficient it is. Would that be possible? Or at laest a hardwood limb, be it aerial or on the ground. Thanks
  2. Good work. How come you didnt climb to the next work position, to keep warm...
  3. Good lad. Now get back to sleep! Its late there
  4. You'd need a sense of humour living in milton keynes LOL
  5. This is the most useless pointless pos thread I've ever seen. Lose.
  6. Luke told me that if you order 3 he will send you half a GRCS. Nice one Mark!

  9. Do you think your sling placements could have been more advantageous? Having the one leg so close to you (the climber) didnt give the crane as much control as say, having one sling at balance point, so it could either lift or drop depending on the cut and the weight balance of the limb... Just my 2cents from my armchair. Good job.

  18. You're planning on rigging big, know what you're doing.
  19. Well if the groundsman is f++k1ng that up, teach him again. They arent hard to use. Quicker to setup, versatile. My groundsman cant tie a bowline but he can use a portawrap any day of the week.
  20. The guy is just starting out I take it. Why a bollard? Just take things one step at a time. Use a flying capstan. Get the basics down first. Walk before you can blah blah!
  21. Go to the mighty teacher that is Youtube.
  22. Hey come on guys I got it down in the end.
  23. Who is Darrin and what does he know about tree work anyway! 50m, or what I use - 150 feet I have never needed a longer rope on any of the trees I have done here in Long Island. 13mm 1/2 inch Forestry Pro takes some abuse i throw at it! Just today I rigged out a whole oak tree with it, and it was fine. The 5/8ths comes out when negative rigging wood. Believe and trust in your gear!
  24. Well done on your first effort though. My first vid was two lombardys too. Next one, add some exciting stuff, like turning the camera around on your face while you make a difficult cut. Or some zip lining. Or something.
  25. Am I missing something here? Was there a link to some kind of cool heli tree surgery that I didnt see?v
