  2. the leaves of the persian ironwood can grow from 6-15cm lond and 4-10cm wide, they do however normally have upto 8 pairs of veains where this has more. It would be good to see the petiole as the ironwood has a short one of about 1/2inch

  7. just out of interest to some, low stumps are also better for coppiced woods, the lower (and flatter) the stump the better the future growth

  9. strange question but how is it sad if the tree failed naturally or have i missed something? yes the spheroblast thing was not decayed, but is that possibly because its somehow detached from the decayed wood? yeesh, think i'm having brain melt:001_rolleyes:
