  1. It is dense,but strong too,would have been lighter in ally,I like the way it looks,and get a 1200 kg payload.Oh & the timber was free!
  2. I Use it both on a short strop for work positioning,and often on a second line ,along side lifeline with friction hitch for limbwalking,have used it to descend with a fig 8 rescue to.
  3. Got the ram from autolift,they seemed ok to me and quite helpfull,the wood is iroko' (poor mans teak!) Saw yours on here a few days ago,lovely motor!

  5. I climb on mine,they work well for me,be interesting to see what other opinions are as they are not fail to safe.

  7. Just a couple of the landy doing what it does best! 6 feet of chippings,and the light footprint lets it get right to the edge to tip, these motors stun me with their versatility.

    200t carb.

    Did you put a standard replacement carb on,or go for an 020 carb? I use the 020 carbs no probs.

  16. Blue tack a bit of white toilet paper (1 of 2 skins),or tracing paper over the flash for a cheep difuser,works a treat.
  17. Why not use concrete ones,they are available,won't rot,last for years,and you won't break your neck on them. Bradstone etc do them in a variety of styles. Makes more sense to me! stepping stones Scroll to the botom of the page,they do 'concrete planks' too,spoilt for choice and senible option!

  23. Often the way mate,but if you give me the cash,when a good one comes up I can lend you the money to buy it.
  24. Mine has been bombproof,great little machine,a good one will come up soon,no point buying one with trouble,smells of abuse & lack of maintenance. Knackered rocker assembly sounds like lack of oil change to me,they dont realy burn any oil,but a frequent oil & filter renders the honda engine completely reliable.
  25. Never had a problem with mine mate,sounds a bit strange for a honda engine,be carefull.
