    woodturning

Looking good,Ian's right, half the skill of woodturning is about keeping your tools sharp and true. Rub the bevel on the work piece, and lift gently into the cut.
  3. They will probably get compensation payout for witnessing Jonsey in the buff! Glad your all ok though.
  4. Best wishes with the new job.
  5. Bit more on them. Brown-tail - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  6. Iv'e had these rash me up,not a pleasant experience. Brown Tail Moth caterpillar
  7. Yep,if you buy 4 of them they work out at £14.69 each! The quality is good, and delivery too. Iwas having a chat to one of their techies to establish exactly what product would best suit my needs, seems like they cover all angles on spinning abrasives, and have time to chat & advise!
  8. Manual; ms180,tickover page 46 . http://www.ultimatehandyman.co.uk/manuals/stihl/21.pdf
  9. Sounds like you need to lower the tickover is all, maybe adjust the low jet,2 minute job,but if you have little knowledge of this process get shown how.
  10. Hope they find the perpetrator, sickening!
  11. Just unboxed the 2 discs I ordered, total invoice £46,and my mistake, they are double sided, they look well engineered. Going to use one this weekend so will post a pic & see how they go.

  14. Just placed an order for a grinding disc to sharpen my finger teeth on the stump grinder, realy helpful people, and they are doing free postage on orders over £20 as an offer at the moment, heres a link; 115mm 4 1 2 diameter Diamond coated wheel Vanity Blade
  15. Stevie is probably right, but if it realy isn't an option, have a look at the echo top handle saws,I have run the little one for over a year now,and it has been used hard,no problems at all.I would go for the bigger one if you are only getting one saw,as the exta bar length and power would be nescesary. As an aside,I realy get on with the side handle which curves back to the rear of the saw,as you can reach out and still use two hands on the saw, gives realy good agility and safety. Echo Tools Hope this helps, should be able to get one for maybe £350 -£380.
  16. :thumbup1:Breathtaking,wonderful work!
