  1. That is an outstanding carving, superb work indeed.:thumbup1:
  2. Funny pic Predator, that mutt will follow you anywhere!
  3. As all the above, try & get a good nights sleep,& take a bar of choccy,& maybe some fruit & a drink so you can snack & rehydrate,no point in being uncomfortable with thirst or hunger, enjoy the day!
  4. Great to hear from you mate, sounds like things are moving forward for you even if it doesn't feel that way. Hope it all works out for you with open mind, stay in touch mate.
  5. Trust you mate, thats one of the great things about you,i'm too clean minded to spot the smutt potential in some things, but relly on you to point things out for a laf.

    Oooohhhhh

    :thumbup1:ELG,that is one great gesture.
  7. that cheered me right up,know what you mean too!
  8. Blimey mate, thats not a good way of asking for an explanation of another post especially from someone good at doing things,,accidents happen in this industry,& by the grace of luck its not you got hurt.
  9. Thats spot on,well put.
  10. Ten shots for two targets...waste of powder, just get some 9ball pig shot in a side by side! I did get some help setting up my little show,I had it running for a couple of years off my own back & some money was passed down,so I stuck it into more kit.Not into all that bling on my harness though,I just settled on chrome plating my spikes & silver tags on the end of my boot laces.
  11. You will get some who express their distaste at your work, thats going to happen anywhere & unless its reasoned it is to be taken with a pinch of salt, thats the down side of having the 'temerity' to show ideas in an effort generate good discussion. I myself on occasion use an angled hinge & find it effective on side leaners & in a situation where wind can be a factor.
  12. I want a grey one in large, where do I order? Must be me,I cant find where to sort it!

    Ms460 ?

The 460 is a very nice saw, loads of mid range grunt too,but the standard air filter lets fine dust through, can be upgraded.
  14. NICE TARGET!! (Jesting )
  15. Good post, learn at your own speed, push yourself but dont let others pressure you. All the 'man up' stuff is all very funny, but it wont help you if you bash your confidence or get hurt,it does happen.
  16. What fun!
  17. Nice form there Mark, great stuff,& when you get yourself up & running with your own lathe, give me a shout as I would love a look,& will give you some wood in exchange for a peep at it!

    Jokes???

A manbumps into his friend at the bar, who had two big black eyes. He asked what happened? Said he was in line at a store when he noticed the Girls skirt, in front of him was stuck up her butt crack, so he reached and pulled it out, to which she turned and slapped the chit out of him. His friend said, well that accounts for one black eye, how'd you get the other. Well, he said, she was so pissed that I pulled it out, I figured I'd better stick it back in!
  19. Mr Stockbridge is probably on the money,Strip the carb down & clean it,inspecting the diaphrams, pop the filter out the tank & clean / replace & blow the fuel pipes through, run it on 50/1 with a good chainsaw 2 stroke oil, good luck, they are a nice little chugger saw.
  20. I will give you that, but the rest fits.. Back on topic, you will be fine after the opp,but it ts a good idea to let it knit up a bit,& the no driving/cycling stairs bit is worth bearing in mind for a while.
  21. Thats all you need to do.
  22. Its a simple thing nowadays, more so if no bone grinding involved, sure you will be fine, when I had mine done I had suffered a fall & trapped my foot in a limb fork, resultsd in a locked knee for about a month before I got to the sleepy table,I think back then they used a glorified shower hose to do the key hole surgery,& the vet was definately boss eyed when he came round to see me afterwards,he also had no bed manners,he scoffed one of my egg mayonaise sandwitches That I was rather coveting at the post opp tea & sarny stage! In fact & in hindsight, he reminds me to some extent to Felix the chopper!
  23. I had it done about 12 years back after an accident,I think they messed with the bone a bit too behind the knee cap, took a week or so to be right back then, needs doing again now. Give it a chance to heal & do the physio,no point in wrecking a good job.
  24. Just thought we would stay quiet to retain your dignity.
  25. He sure did, & you Matty,I'm sure all on the forum take our hats off to you,top performance from a realy nice chap.
