  5. LMFAO- i had noticed this......around the same time as i was ringing up what could have been really good timber......"no- its pretty crap from what i can tell" was my answer to the guy who i was climbing for that day:blushing::blushing:
  6. Nowadays the thinking on tetanus is that if you have had one in the last ten years you never need another one!! I went for a few years of getting a couple a year on average. Then when i opened up my finger back along they said i didnt need one if i had ever had one!
  7. It is lovely timber- younger trees especially, as they dont shatter whent hey hit the deck. For a long while it was mooted as an alternative to redwoods, but never really took hold. Love to see a pic of your table Ed if you have one. I grew up with an enourmous wellingtonia infront of the house, you could see it literally miles away.
  8. sorry- my tongue in cheek comment came out wrong- i have no doubt you left it perfect mate.
  9. Very odd behaviour. Maybe they couldnt break in so thought they would just make your life a misery instead.twits

  12. Thanks for that Dave- a bit annoying though as i ringed up a lovely stem a few weeks back thinking it was crap. Ill not do it again though.
  13. Nice one Simon, Mozza and the other lads in Coventry. That is what its all about. BTW, how is that luxury horsebox now?

  17. So it isnt THAT weak then? Does it not rot quickly?
  18. Class. You hit any passing boats with chip yet mate?
  19. I use prior&rickett (01432 851311) or Euroforest (check their website for nearest office). They will supply size and length to your requirements.
  20. They all do, no matter of age or marque, when they start doing any real work.
  21. Like it says in the title.......if we can catch the buggers!! We have six that should be ready for christmas, but they insist on running round the yard terrorizing the horses, and have now taken to getting up in this roof all day. Its really funny as they run all over the adjoining roofs too, and you get glimpses of turkeys looking gormless and cheeping. They arent old enough to make the 'gobble gobble' sound yet!
