  1. Cant comment on the airstreams, but the first chainsaw boots i had were meindl, and they were very comfy and very hard wearing. I use haix protector pros now which i reckon are pretty much on a par with the meindls.
  2. Personally i would keep the rims, as they are well siuted to carrying a 130, and reshoe them with some BFG mud terrains. I get 285.75.16s for 135 fitted, which are oversize, i reckon you could get 4 265s for about 480 (thats fitted inc vat BTW.)
  3. I cannot, but that clip really brought things home to me when i saw it a few years back. Very poignant indeed.
  4. Nice one Josh. All you need now is to get rid of those awful Grizzly Claws off the back wheels! Looking good though.

Quite agree. From what i can tell these guys charge a shed load for something that can be done easily at home. Unless you want something that says "i earn loads of money" all over it then josh has the right idea. I did mine for about 300 notes- ali dropside tipper. Sweet. It also has a lower load bed height than any other tipper i have come across, whilst maintaining wheel clearences even with oversized tires. I cannot see the point in paying thousands, but thats just me i spose.

  11. Is true creosote still out there? I was led to believe it was some sort of substitute made from petrochemicals nowadays.
  12. Put the larch straight in the ground, it will outlast any of the poxy tanalised crap available nowadays by far. Soak it in sump oil/ diesel etc etc if you want, or even char the end going in the ground.
