  1. Yeah, thats pretty shocking. I am going to ask my local....
  2. Wow, thats really interesting David- i was still under the impression that it was flowing too.....'glass is the densest liquid' and all that stuff. Never heard about redwoods though.
  3. Just you wait........just you wait........:laugh1:
  4. Top stuff Al. Like you say Dave, a purple folding can open doors......
  5. Were you there John???? That photo is an amazing likeness...........:laugh1:
  6. Thats a heck of a lot for what it is. I would want to put that much to it again to get it right.....but then 130 crew cab tipper for 8k, lots of new bits....not bad really.

Good opinion though Bri.....I have to agree. Light powerful saw, and well over £100 cheaper, and it will handle a 16" bar easily.
  8. Nice windy day for it too:001_tongue: Well found Liam:biggrin:
  9. Total nail i reckon, and if it had gone for around 2500 then probably the right price, but anything over that and someone will be sorely disappointed. With all the probs you have mentioned apbell, then i reckon it has been a very hard worked vehicle. It is probably honest, just shagged out. The chassis is prob ok on that age, esp as its a 130, and if the bulkhead is sound then its a good project vehicle for anyone with a modecom of mechanical knowledge. Parts for landys are seriously cheap. 450 for a new box, £8/ side and about 1.5hrs work for the swivel seals, and about £30/side to redo swivel pins whilst you're in there. Electrics.....no real bother- 2nd hand looms for 300tdis are out there, and they're so basic that repair isnt out of the question either. Often the biggest problems are earthing ones IME. Still wouldnt give more than 2.5k tho'!
  10. Good luck with it....you should have had mine, it had a new jockey wheel and bellows on the brakes and really was like a new trailer. Never mind, someone has a mega bargain.
  11. Cant give you much advice on that mate, but you missed an awesome trailer on ebay:sneaky2:
  12. i thought my house was messy! Thats unreal!
  13. Top post John, and great standard of pics as normal:thumbup1: Reminds me of a site i worked on for months doing stonework where the squirrels were raiding lunchboxes almost right next to you, and even going in the building to steal! There was a robin there too, but we never managed to get it to quite eat out of our hands.
  14. :thumbdown:Well, I have just got back in from my nocturnal excercises........chasing about 40 bullocks around muddy fields........they should have been safely tucked up in bed, but we think they may have had help from a mischievous visitor, as they had apparently undone 2 d shackles keeping a yard gate shut.....in 15 years they have never escaped through that gate......something very fishy going on methinks.
  15. Great set of pics- looking good. Bet that was an enjoyable project to get stuck into.
  16. I have a load that you are welcome to- i bought about 100 and have tripped over them ever since:blushing: (i dont really do logs) but they vame from mole valley if i recall.
  17. I hope that you told them that if that was what they felt then who were you to stop them? Obviously that would be NONE of your business, and that they should use a reputable company so they dont pay through the nose:001_tt2:
  18. Chewy.....pass me the hydrospanner!
  19. Really stoked for ya mate. Lets get that timber moved next week and get in there before he changes his mind!
  20. Thats quite a plane i the background......Avro Lancaster?
  21. Cheers Justin- and a happy chrimbo back!
  22. That truck is flippin awesome mate:thumbup: Just what i would like, although 4wd would be an advantage due to the muddy pit i call a yard:thumbdown:
