  1. Try these guys Bandsaw Blades, Circular Saw Blades And Cutters For Industry And DIY
  2. Liam, Liam, Liam....do you REALLY want to be associated with the likes of them who have 1.1 novas with bodykits and big stereos.....
  3. Which to be honest isnt that long......personally speaking.
  4. Subaru are excellent cars, the legacy estate really is a top motor, but as you say the imprezza must be the tackiest saddest penis extension for spotty youths to race around inner city estates thinking they look cool that was ever built.....or fat middle aged morons who want to regain their youth.......sorry, i may have said it like it is.....if you are an impreza driver feel free to ignore my point of view BTW:lol:
  5. Thats chris richardson i reckon, looking at the lorry.
  6. Whats with the capitals at the beginning of every word...
  7. Know of a good un, pretty tidy, in regular use, in your price range, but about 8" i think. Long way for you to go though...
  8. LMFAO. chav chariot!!:laugh1:
  9. Yes and yes.... Carvers use canon bars, and the abuse they get from carvers takes some believing (i have a mate carving at my place at the mo, and he got a new oregon bar the other day....within about 20 mins the paint was nearly gone in one area of one side) and they swear by them. They seem to last a couple of seasons compared to half a season on a standard bar. There are different viscosity oils- the anti fling properties are the important bits. I think the stickiest i have found is from Mole Valley Farmers.......but thats only any use if you live in southe west uk!
  10. But just dont put your best kitchen knives in it as it will kil them due to the heating and cooling........ Mate- that is grim, thanks for posting:biggrin:
  11. Thats all well and good guys, but as we all know exhaust bore diameter is invertely proportionate to penis size.......and those subaru imprezas have huuuge exhausts:sneaky2:
  12. I have been telling him to get me pics so i can put it in the classifieds for him....he is a busy guy. He so wants a new BMW bike that he was going to drive the chipper to a local machinery dealer and take whatever he was offerd!!! and then get me in with the vermeer when he needed a chipper.
  13. The standard halogen conversion is a straight swap on a defender, and takes no time at all for a big difference. Well worth doing mate.
  14. if you want a 4x4 that doubles as a car you are gonna be hard pushed tbh. Prob something jap or a ranger double cab, or a disco.
  15. How much have you to spend? My mate has a chipper for sale which is excellent, and is 7 or 8 inch- he is desoerate to sell it so he can buy a motorbike, and i rckon he woukd take 1500 if you offered it to him. The chipper is in my opinion worth about 4k, but he is DESPERATE to sell it..... I wouldnt EVER buy a tw, or any other machine, off ebay when you have any doubts howver small about it, go with your instinct...
  16. I am in that position now mate- i can keep the landy, thank god, and flog the trailer to finance some of a little U900 which has a big crane on it off a friend. I have looked at it for ages and he now wants to sell. It could be the ideal set up for me:thumbup: Got to sell ifor though.
  17. Deffo ailanthus....just try cutting it down and see what happens........LOL These things are unkillable, and will sucker from the root system metres away from the original stump, so even grinding isnt a guaranteed way to get rid of it.
  18. Sooty, the little black and white jack russell.
  19. Day from hell. Put one of the the dogs down at 1am, woke up to a really messed around day, ended up miles from home cutting up a huge beech which i was misinformed about the ownership (although i did eventually get work out of it from the true owner) driving home with a borrowed trailer got stopped for a rear light not working, to be told that MOT ran out yesterday not wednesday as i thought. So now looking at a fine. Then missed the evening out i was meant to be at.
  20. Never mind the swabish. The vt will only self tend when you have about 20' ish or more of rope hanging down to give it weight. It is an ideal system for moving about in the crown. You can ascend on it, but it is best if you adjust it like this http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/picture-forum/6651-extendable-bridges-mr-shutler.html which shows various techniques for vt setups.
  21. Christ, this whole 'landy thing is crap' is soooooooooooooo f-ing boring. If you have a problem with them then tough, dont buy one. They are no more or less reliable than any other hard working 4x4, i have had most makes, and when you put them into real work NONE of the 4x4;s are better than any others. END OF STORY. What l/r do have going for them is that they are VERY VERY cheap to repair, and in 7 years of owning my present defender it has let me down once. My last toyota bent in the middle , had constant electrical problems and was a lightweight glorified car, on a par with ford rangers, mitsubishi l200's and all the other wannabees out there. So when someone asks a sensible question after advice on a vehicle, shall we try to give him a sensible answer instead of finding excuses to start a landy versus toyota style thread. There are other forums out there for that. Rant over, normal service will now be resumed.
  22. That would be nice......
