If you can get a cheap 361 get one of them, they are brilliant. I can only assume that the 362 willl be in the sme vein, but early days in this country for that saw, so i havent heard anything about them. Is the 391 the new version of the 390....? if so i wouldnt bother wit it. The 390 was a pretty mediocre saw..
  12. What a top thread. i will endeavour to find an emormous oak that is in full health after being blown over in '87 i think the farmer said. It must be 5 foot diameter!!
  13. Ill say anything you want for the right saw:blushing: You can see it now on front page of forest journal......."jonesiegate- the cash for quotations scandal":lol:
  14. Love the second pic in particular.
  15. I dont advertise any more. YP are charlatans, as are yell.com IMO, and 99% of my work is word of mouth. I get a tiny bit from the likes of today- on a building site with a mate and offered the builder sawn timber.
  16. Tricky one. 3k later on a 4x4....you could have been driving it in sand will be their argument.. The landys in the china clay pits get 2 weeks to a set of discs, and about 3 days to pads as the silica just grinds it to nothing in no time. they will, as a garage, wriggle out of it full stop...sorry.
  17. In the mersey tunnel it is 15mph i think, and the same on motorways maybe...Not sure on other roads tho'.
  18. Good vid. Did a couple of much smaller sycs lie that last week, but they were in fairly wet ground so were pretty easy. Great fun though. One exploded when it hit the deck as it was very dead!
  19. We should get our heads together Dave- I can climb what i like at Pencarrow.....and i might be able to pul some strings with the NT for Lanhydrock, although i think they will probably veto it instantly....One thing is for certain...we WONT be able to climb the tree in my avatar sadly...(prob/poss the tallest tree in cornwall)
  20. You are going off road with Avon rangemasters!!!!!!! You are brave mate lOl
  21. Thanks Dean.... You not signed up to OVI with nokia- there are quite alot of apps on that.
  22. I would go for something Like 18stoner said, or even an MS240 even if its just to sit by the chipper idling most of the time. Like he said the likes of the (former) rear handled 200 seems a bit OTT for that job...
