  1. That is a stunning piece of work. I would love to have one made, as my missus is into horses-we have about 30 here at the mo- but you are a bit far away....although I had/ have relations on the Island.

Not heard that one before.......I have an 088 that is 10 y.o and as good as ever. I have tiotal faith in it. Weird. I would have one over the 3120husky (i am not brand loyal, i have stihl and husky) depending on what you want it for. Suffice to say i know more people who have 88's than 3120s. It is alot of money....its also a lot of saw. Would an 066 not suffice- awesome tool and well proven. Unless you need a 48" bar i cant see the point in the mega heavy thing.
  3. Cor how could she have not benn overwhelmed by thye charms of it all??
  4. Brammer, or BSL (bearing services Limited) are one of the largest bearing supliers in the world. http://www.brammer.co.uk/uk_west_midlands.aspx
  5. Totally agree- i think your answer is exemplified by........football.
  6. I hope england get knocked out ASAP, and we need never hear any more about the gayest sport there is. IMO!
  7. LOL same guy i reckon- His accent is different to say the least! You can just see the rock that half of it is built on in one of the pics i think.
  8. Head to Redruth, then to Four lanes, take the Carnkie turning, get into the village, and creep through till you see a tiny road n your right with signs to carn brea castle.....and go off roading...the track is passable in a car...
  9. Took my missus for a meal here yesterday for our 10th wedding anniversary. Its a fave of ours, which is now a restaurant seving Jordanian food, with the most amazing atmosphere....bare stone walls, with lichen and moss etc on the stones, candlelight only, and after the meal the owner gets his tabla out and performs, or his wife sings. Its really really good, and if you are down this way it is a must. Book early though.
  10. Went to carn brea castle for our wedding anniversay yesterday- its a 14th century hunting lodge that now houses the most amazing restaurant run by a jordanian man. Its a favorite haunt of ours. The views from on the roof are incredible....this was the sunset, taken on my phone, hence quality....
  11. Structure and appearance are unrelated-you can build a very solid wall that looks awful and vice-versa.
  12. I have had it out with this tosser before for selling dodgy saws...
  13. Haha- yes. She is a tw@t though- this has been happening now for ages- every time she brings one back the dog eats it...you would think she would learn:001_rolleyes: Its not like the dogs dont catch their own, or rats....
  14. So this is the outcome of when the cat brings her super up to the house..... Basically the cat brought the rabbit she had caught up to the house....so the yellow lab nicked it off her, and as he was carrying it out of the house to eat it, he walked past his grandson (mastiff/ greyhound/ lab cross) which he thought was doing something other than just walking past, so attacked him. He turned round and caused the damage in pic one (there is also a gash under his nose)...at which point the yellow lab basically gave him the bad news.....when my wife had extracted the young dog from the lab's jaws, the young dog legged it down the yard and hid under the sawmill, and the little tiny dog in the last pic (which is only about 6 months old) has been hiding away all evening.....The lab just went back to eating the rabbit...whilst spraying blood everywhere- he wouldnt let go of it as my wife tried to stem the flow.....honestly, hes a nightmare!!!
  15. Thanks for that post Ian. Funnily enough i was chatting to someone in my kitchen today about p.ramorum who was working for defra on the p. ramorum work about 3-4 years ago. He established without doubt the link with waterways and the spread of p.ramorum, but this avenue was sadly not researched very well as he changed jobs around that time. I live very near unity woods in scorrier which is where p. ramorum kerniviae was first found, and ramorum really started hitting the headlines as it were, so this is of great interest to me.
  16. I may have one in my yard, but i am in west cornwall!!! If you are interested still give me a bell and ill get the measurements. This is it with a 48" bar on the 88:001_smile:
  17. There was an order a while back to all forces such as police and vosa etc NOT to pull 'travelling types' without VERY good reason after some gypos pulled a shooter and battered the cops. This has happened to a vosa inspector who tried to pull his weight with the 'wrong' lorry driver. These a ssholes will be their own undoing hopefully.
  18. Been using second hand oil from the chippy for a while (water, bits and all) and my mate has been using it exclusively for years. no probs yet, and the chain runs very very well......and it is sooooooo cheap.
  19. Im with Rob on this one. That is extremely high value and nowadays rare timber.
  20. OMFG you crazy buggers!!!! I just google via ferrata, as i didnt really know what it meant, and some of the pics are scary to put it mildly!!! Whilst on crazy adrenalin fuelled rusting bits of metal excusing themselves as walkways LOL, have you any plans to do this:[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXrVG7aoizc]YouTube - Caminito del Rey[/ame]
