  1. A company call Marshall's import them. I had to email for details. I can't remember how much they were. But I've just brought a quad instead, but an open horse is next on the list. I can see loads of uses for them.
  2. As above, big heavy a nightmare in the tree. But if you need one it does what it should. Although I found it a bit underwhelming (perhaps i was expecting too much) until it needs sharpening then its overwhelming😀. Chain tensioning is bit of a struggle (I find it either to tight or won't sit in the bar when cutting horizontally with a 48" bar).
  3. Will do, I'm near Lydney. Are you local?
  4. I just orders or FM. Company in Durham (01388 60862). Should be here next week😀 Now I need o wok out what winch to put on my quad...
  5. I got the same answer about price, RL at least we tried! Which stockist did you try? I might need one ASAP
  6. Polaris 6x6 would be cool, but wrong end of the country for me!
  7. Slim, possibly😀. I've of to see if I can get a quad later this week and will need a trailer ASAP
  8. Looks more than similar! 😀
  9. Hi s o c, what's the build quality like? It's hard to tell from the web site? I've also just found one from Iorn Baltic which looks good but the box bed is separate. Cheers
  10. Hi all, I'm thinking of getting a timber trailer to use behind a quad, has anyone for any recommendations or ones to avoid? I've found the one at the link below any thoughts? The inserts so it can carry logs etc looks handy but perhaps lacks a bit of robustness... https://www.kellfri.co.uk/tipping-and-forestry-trailer-for-atv Cheers Mark
  11. Had an American Red Oak go over into a school play ground. Pretty straight forward severe root plate and lift out. Back today to chip brash, the owner had already processed the firewood😀. Easy job, thanks to having the crane and happy customer. Surprisingly nothing else today.

  13. Where do you get a safety Stetson hat? That's cool😁😁😁
  14. Sorry Eggs, I'm knackered hence poorly written post. So you reckon the xcover would be better? Cheers Mark
  15. I need to replace my phone. I have been using Samsung xcovers for ages and an happy with waterproofness etc, but I smashed my xcover 3. Rather than replace like for like I was looking at the Cat S30, S40 and S50. Anybody got one, of do what are they like? The spec looks good. Cheers Mark
  16. Bump, still looking for an Iron Horse of any one had one they want to sell☺☺
  17. That's write an interesting presentation. So... Now I've got to think a bit more about the trailer as well!
  18. Thanks Sent, more food for thought. I've looked at a JD 6420 (I think iirc). Nice tractor, would be good to have some room for growth in the future. Cheers
  19. Thanks John. I'm staying to look at some options, then see what's about. Tbh I hadn't really given much thought to air brakes, given the nature of the work it'll be doing is a must.
  20. I'm not sure what weight of chip I'll get in the 10t trailer. But I guess it's better to have a few HP to spare😁😁
  21. That's interesting, never heard that. It's towing that's going to need the HP. Cheers
